Fantastic property great location

We had a great stay at Awelfa. Brilliant location. Walking distance to the beach and all the local restaurants, with plenty of off street parking. The house is beautifully finished with 3 en-suites and everything you need for a stay away. Hopefully we’ll be back soon. Would highly recommend.

6 nights in Rhosneigr

Had a fantastic time here, we also stayed here in January, so was nice to return. Great location, shame there’s no garden, as the weather was supper sunny during our stay.

Lovely house very convenient for beach, shops, cafes etc. we were a 3 generation family and found it worked well. We were very lucky to have had excellent weather. Just a mention maybe a grab rail could be put in the big downstairs walk in shower for older guests.

Lovely stay

We had a lovely week at this property. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Not the best first impression when you arrive and look out of the back bedroom window. This overlooks the back off the surf shop and unfortunately there is a lot of waste left out there which looks quite unpleasant. The kitchen is very well equipped. The snug room is lovely but would be a bit cramped for more than 3 people

Lovely place to stay

We had such a lovely stay in Anglesey. The house is modern, clean and tidy. The bedrooms are a lovely size and all with ensuits. The kitchen is well equipped with a good sized table for everyone. It feels very homely. The house is very close to shops, pub, restaurants and the beach. Couldn’t have asked for more. We will definitely visit again. Thank you.

Lovely house at the centre of Rhosneigr

Lovely property in the centre so handy for everything , beach , shops , pubs ! Clean comfortable as always with AHL , been to a few places now and they are always super clean ! So thanks for that Everything catered for , esp the en-suite bathroom and shower rooms to each bedroom Only downside for me was the stairs to the outside space which were quite steep , not ideal for small children , although my dog had no problems getting down ! Limited space although it was enclosed , minor problem for us Parking good We enjoyed the get together !

Week in Anglesey

Just returned from a great week in Rhosneigr. Great weather and a fabulous cottage. Had a minor problem when we first arrived, one of the downstairs windows would not lock. rang the office and within 30 minutes, a maintenance man came out and changed the lock, problem fixed very quickly. Thank you. Cottage was very spacious, and was good that we had 2 good sized TV's, as I could watch sport whilst my wife and daughter watched other things is the lounge. Found losts of clean beaches to visit with the dog, good food in local pubs and a good fish and chip shop round the corner. Would recomend The Ship at Red Wharf Bay for Sunday lunch (booking recomended), esp if you like large size portions.

Beautifully modern & central!

We booked last minute for 2 nights. I brought my parents for a break by the sea. The house is perfect, each bedroom has its own bathroom. A variation of shower and baths. The kitchen space is huge! The snug was just right for a small group, could be a tad cramped with a big group but having the kitchen (with its own huge tele) space right across still keeps everyone close. The beds were super comfy! The pillows a dream. The location is amazing, just tucked away down the side of the Y Morfa pub yet still quiet. We had everything we needed in our door stop. Be mindful the house next door parks alongside your parking here. There is a sign to point this out but we only had one car as did they so no issues at all. Even with a car there we’d of got another car parked fine. Will stay here again. Great house!

Fantastic family holiday

We received this holiday as a gift from a very special couple as our son was diagnosed with leukaemia in December, we feel very lucky to have been gifted this holiday. The location was fantastic, 5 min walk to the beach, walked it with bare feet twice. Shop, fish and chips, cafes and rental for watersports all within 5 mins. Beach was beautiful we enjoyed it in the day and in the evening. Perfect location. The house was absolutely perfect for us, we had our son (5) and daughter (2) both in their own rooms. En-suites in each bedroom very handy. It was so spacious and comfortable. The beds were incredible! I checked out the brand of the mattress it was so good. Showers were luxurious and the bath was perfect for the kids. Visited Menai, beautiful little place my husband and son did the rib-rides ‘Menai adventures’ boat trip. Both had a fantastic time. Visited Beaumaris, enjoyed the wheel and the castle. Received a gift bag on arrival full of really handy stuff and some really lovely treats. Scarlett’s fish and chips were delicious and we ate at the oyster catcher, food was lovely, and the kids played in the sand dunes. We would definitely recommend this holiday to friends and family and would definitely stay again. We went kayaking and tried bodyboarding. So wonderful being by the sea. It was the perfect holiday that we all needed. Thanks so much.

9 day winter stay

The accommodation is spacious, comfortable, clean and well maintained. We were however a bit lost and also had to alter our Asda delivery and a postal delivery on arrival, as the postcode we were given was wrong as it took us to another part of the village. The name plate on the property is Tremfor, and not Awelfa as you would expect as this was the property name we were given. I did point this issue out to an Anglesey Holiday Lettings representative, that emailed me back saying " We have not previously experienced any issues with our guests finding the property". We have used Anglesey Holiday Lettings quite a few times previously and found them to be really good, however, I do think a little more attention to detail on behalf of Anglesey Holiday Lettings, would have saved us a little stress at the start of the holiday.
