“Beautiful cozy ”

“Nice place with wonderful view!”

“Sandy and John are what Cape Breton hospitality is all about. Their well appointed home has everything you need and more. The magical path to the beach is lit with fairy lights and although a fire ban was in place during our visit we enjoyed their deck fire pit on crisp October nights. The house is secluded and surrounded by beautiful fall foliage. Internet and a large screen smart tv are available for rainy days. Not a sound was heard or a living soul spotted during our stay and we slept oh so……

Having spent my summers on the Bras d’Or lake as a child I knew what I was getting with regards to lake (it is clear, warmer than the ocean, salt water —perfect to me!), but this was my first stay at Lakeside Luxury. I booked the cottage which was a great option for privacy, the screened porch was perfect for the mornings and evenings to get away from bugs. “The Lakeside Dome is a perfect spot for a quiet getaway. We enjoyed the view of the lake and it was very close to the Dundee resort where we were attending a wedding. A nice retreat.”

“Wonderful cottage on Lake Bras D'Or. The pictures of the property are accurate. There is great privacy at the property and lots of room to spread out and enjoy yourself.The view is absolutely spectacular and we loved option of both a hot tub and a sauna. ”

“This was the first experience we ever had with a Vrbo or similar style of stay. We usually only stay in Hotels however if we are able to stay in places like this again then we will likely only stay here. This property was exactly as advertised and so clean! We had a blast and enjoyed the boats, water, hot tub and all the amenities. We will happily return to this property soon. PS - Make sure to get access to the sauna and community hot tub.
