We were shocked and disappointed at the overall condition of the facility! The room smelled like smoke and my 2 daughters with asthma had trouble breathing. Unfortunately, other facilities in the area were also booked solid.

The only good about this property was Megan, she was very nice. The room wasn’t well clean, there were hairs on the bathroom shower, it’s an old place that haven’t had a renovation in a long time. The photos on the app aren’t nothing like the place.

Do not believe the fake 10/10 reviews. Read through the 2/10 reviews. They are spot on. The room was disgusting. Filthy bathroom, filthy bathtub, huge blood stain on the mattress under the mattress pad, food on the floor between the bed and the nightstand. We didn’t even takeoff our jackets, we got out of there immediately and drove 2 1/2 hours home. I will never believe Expedia ratings again, without digging in to individual reviews. So many red flags at check-in: A very thorough review of the rules, had a television red light District Motel feel to it. The outside looks like a scene from a horror movie. Expedia is trying to get a refund which I think is unlikely, based on the other feedback. I just wish Expedia would remove the fake reviews so tired travelers understand what a horror show this hotel is. Be warned! Do not stay here!

This place does NOT look like the pictures. Pulling into the parking lot and you'll see run down signage, blinking signs, and even some flickering lights. Check in was quick, easy, and friendly. Now onto the room.... lordy where do i start? This place is sooooooo outdated and is in desperate need, for not even just upgrades, but PROPER maintenance. The ceiling tiles were gross looking and some looked like they'd fall out. One electrical socket didnt have a cover (I would assume that shouldn't be like that for safety). One socket didnt work at all. There was a tissue stuffed into a possible hole in the ceiling. The Side table lamp was broken. The towel rack in bathroom was rusted quite a bit. Bed was ok... had clean sheets. I asked for an extra towel and wash clothes. Front desk said that they didnt have anymore but they would get some and bring them to my room within 10-15 minutes... got them almost 1.5 hours later (after 11 pm. Luckily, i hadnt fallen asleep yet). No phone in the room to contact front desk. Had I been able to get a refund, I would have and went elsewhere. Don't get me wrong. I'm not looking for immaculate and completely updated esthetics, but this was a bit ridiculous. Definitely won't be staying there ever again. Sorry.

No amenities worth mentioning. No clock. No phone. The room needed vacuuming. The curtains were falling down in several places. No guide for TV channels though they did bring me a paper list when they saw my review on another website. The staff was pleasant and kind during check-in.

We were unhappy with the condition of the bathroom, tub, sink, and counter, all in desperate need of replacing. Also, no closets or clothing racks to hang our clothes. Beds were comfortable, staff, very friendly and helpful... also apological for the condition of our room.

Desk staff was nice and helpful getting me checked in and fixing my room key card when it didn’t work. They were great. Just being honest - overall, the room I had was pretty run-down. I didn’t even want to sit in the chair. That being said, I saw no bugs and nothing dangerous so it was fine for 1 night.

Rooms are poorly maintained. Furnitures are broken and are from old furnitures thrown from some Hilton hotel. Don't have an Iron box, please carry one if you need one during the stay. No kettles to even prepare coffee in the morning. Floors makes your feet dirty. Bathroom has no hooks to hang your cloths. There are no hangers in the room. The photos are fake, doesn't look like it at all. You will get a much better experience for this price somewhere else

This was the nastiest place ever. Checked in, and checked immediately out after going in the room. It stunk like crazy. A bunch of sketchy people were hanging out ruining up and down the hall. We had to last minute pay a crazy rate elsewhere because there we're not a lot of places with rooms left, due to some events that weekend. No refund because we checked in later than the 3:00pm check in time. $900.00 for a 2 night stay in Richmond.
