Would recommend bringing some black out curtains for the bedrooms if needed, as well as maybe a curtain for the front door. (We came prepared and slept well!)"

"This was a great place to stay! Right on the water and could have just sat on the beach listening to the waves all day. We wanted an outdoor adventure with lots of beach walking, rock hunting, and beach glass finding. We found just that and so many other parks nearby that you can go to as well."

"Mike and Marsha are AMAZING hosts! The house was spotless and has so many amenities! Private beach with tons of chairs, kayaks and fire pit. Wonderful deck overlooking the lake, room for the whole family for meals inside and out. Nice grill on the deck connected to the house. "Overall a very nice stay. Houses are both generally well cared for given their age. Great location, beautiful views, close to town. Lots of positives. A few things to be aware of. Their is only one bathroom in the main house and it's upstairs. And the tub up there drains slowly or not at all. And while it was generally clean there were spider webs on the ceiling of the bedroom and lots of lady bugs crawling around. Not surprising for an old house but just things to be aware of. "The stay was perfect! The only thing I can suggest is a small step for the front door. It was a bit high for my elderly parents. And we did have someone trip on it when carrying in an armload. Otherwise the pool and game rooms were perfect and well appreciated as the weather was not as wonderful as we were hoping for."
