「My sister, myself and our husbands flew from California to visit our Brother that lives in Virginia. We all stayed in the Stuart, VA cabin. It was the BEST trip and we had so much fun together. The cabin was perfect in every way. Had everything we needed. Clean, spacious, quiet and very comfortable. The owner drove 1.5 hours just to bring us a new coffee pot when I messaged him that the on there wasn’t working that great. Bless his heart!! That is above and beyond. 「We had an excellent stay. Our goal was to explore the park and this was the perfect location. Not much going on in Danbury, so bring your own food. I do recommend the lunch place - River Rock Cafe - for sandwich and soup, great way to break up a day of hiking. The host was extremely responsive. House is very clean. We will be back.」

「It is an old house, as stated in the ad. Some rooms had bad smell, especially the BR in the basement. Lots of room for everything. We had minor plumbing and electrical issues. Some of the bedrooms were inter connected, had privacy issues. Disappointed with the pool, as it was not clean despite the efforts from two people who came to clean it. Overall it was good!」

「We had a great stay in this cottage. It was perfect for 2 people. They had supplies you always forget to pack including shampoo/conditioner! The best part was having good coffee from a keurig!! It was hands down much better than a hotel and waking up in the wooded area and seeing deers in the morning was so great! Communication was quick with owners as well! Thank you!! If we are ever in that area again, I would absolutely stay again. 🙂」

The room smelled like it used to be a smoking room, but the staff was kind enough to allow our dog even though they no longer take pets, so we assume we’re in an older room because of the dog.
