It was impeccably quiet, and there is an excellent Mexican restaurant nearby, Ramone's. They sang Happy Birthday to one of their diners in both Spanish and English! Joshua, the guy at the front desk, was helpful and good natured."

"We love this beautifully restored 1870s hotel and the restaurant once again provided another truly superlative meal. The hotel bedding was very comfortable but the formerly cushy pillows have apparently been replaced with new and bigger synthetic ones that forced us to keep our heads cocked until we gave up on them. The heater fan was also quite noisy making sleep more difficult."
