「Alpha's Log Cabin in the woods exceeded our expectations held when we selected this location for our 37th anniversary get-away. The cabin itself is a wonderful lodging place located on a beautiful secluded wooded site where no other dwellings are in view, with a well-kept small yard and attractive flower/shrub beds that all served to give us a nestled-in, very comfortable feeling. 「We had a relaxing trip. When we arrived Crystal had hid 72 eggs all around the property. The kids, even the teenagers, loved it after travelling in the car. The cabin is so neat and vintage. We made Lego flowers, clay creations, enjoyed porch sitting and Yokums hot dogs are the very best! We had a wonderful Easter dinner in the kitchen. The day after Easter we toured Smokehole Caverns. We made memories that we will never forget.」

「We were in town for work. This home was a great place to come back to each night & relax. Quiet, clean & comfortable. We loved the open spaces & all of the windows! Not a huge problem... but the internet is satellite... and unfortunately, it rarely worked. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. Would definitely recommend!!!」

「Property was very clean. A couple of comments, not problems. 1) It would help to have the wifi logon and password posted or given to the renter. 2) A channel listing for the TV would help. Also, shielded cables for the cable, tv, and router would help. There was interference with the tv signal when we talked on our cell phones, the bathroom heater kicked on,and when we made coffee.」

「Small cabin, yes. Perfect for a family of up to four, max. Perfect for a couple. This cabin is absolutely delightful, though. I would love to come back to it. It is actually a bit bigger than these photos make it look, and has a great outdoor space around it. It is also well appointed and the decorations and style are perfect.」

「This was a very low key and relaxing place to stay. There weren't a lot of rules for clean-up that made it feel like you were doing something wrong. Very simple - keep your bed unmade and put your towels on the floor and close the windows. The owner was responsive and kind. Nice cottage feel to the place. We would stay time and time again.」

「Really nice property and cabin; however, we were only there an hour and a half before a transformer blew and the power was cut off due to a windstorm. So we were unable to spend the night. The owner was amazing and understanding and submitted a full refund. I would love to book again another time and have the opportunity to enjoy it.」
