Loved the fans in the bedrooms, (right up my alley) and that there were a few snacks and waters. That was nice as we were rushing to get ready for a nearby wedding.」

「The creek is amazing. Deep enough to wade into. Location is convenient to Banner Elk (you have to try the Wilderness Run Alpine Coaster!!) and Boone (have to try Coyote Kitchen and Stick Boy!) While you're at it head up Beech Mountain in the summer and ride the chair lift to the top (there's a bar up there) and watch the mountain bikers ride down the mountain. House was convenient to all of this! Can't wait to return. Oh yeah, the homemade sour dough bread and jam are a welcome surprise. 」

「My husband, dog and I had a wonderful stay at Two Steps Down. It was perfect for us - clean, cozy, well-stocked and (best of all) right in the middle of everything in downtown Blowing Rock. We loved the fire pit! It was great to have a fenced in yard for our dog. We will definitely be back! 」
