“My family and I booked this cabin for our snow tubing trip in March, 2026. The cabin is in such a pleasant area. Its close to everything but yet completely tucked away in the mountains. “Would definitely recommend. The Midge is a super cute cabin. It was very clean and the fire pit was a definite plus. With the porch lights off you can see a gazillion stars. No views like that in the city. The walking trails are great and go right by the river and its always fun to ride up to the dam where it feels like you're on top of the world. “The cabin was very comfortable and perfect for our stay. We really liked the yard and views and had fun playing in the snow. The inside is lovely with plenty of space for our family of four. Great location for exploring the trail in the NC high country. Easy access to shopping and restaurants. The driveway is quite steep so be aware in the winter, however it’s well maintained and we had no trouble getting up and down. Beds are very comfortable. ”
