Anthony’s is a great place for a dive vacation. Their wonderful staff made everything so easy (airport transfer, diving, meals at the resort or in town) that I am glad I chose to stay there on my first visit to Roatan, Honduras.

Hermoso todo, instalaciones, habitaciones, vistas al mar y nos subieron a la suite deluxe sin coste alguno, los empleados son muy cercanos y la seguridad muy estricta para la zona. El restaurante sí que no me gustó, afortunadamente cogimos sin todo incluido y salimos en taxi a comer por la zona.

Love AK! I have not been AK in more than 20 years, and I love how they have modernized, the property. However, if you not a diver, which I’m not… There isn’t much to do there. I was on a relaxing mode for a couple of nights, so it was great for that, but don’t know if I could do a week there. I’m a beach person, so I walked the beach outside of the hotel. I went to the gate and then to the right. I walked for more than 30 minutes, until I reached an end point, and the beach was not nice at all, not to me anyway. So, it was hotel pool time. Their Pool is nice.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Anthony's Key with just a couple of exceptions. We chose this location for its beautiful cabins right on the water and safety. And this place really checks the boxes on beauty, cleanliness, and helpful staff. However food options are very limited to their single breakfast, lunch, and dinner location, or the bar restaurant with limited times. Other food options require transportation as the roads are to crazy to navigate on our own. Now I understand this part is on me for choosing the location and not the resorts fault. However, keep in mind what you are looking for when booking. We did not scuba dive but this is the perfect place for a diver.

Let me say, the only reason I’m giving 4 instead of 5 is simply because we could feel the racism from the staff as Honduran-Americans over more “American” looking guests. It was very hurtful and did not make me feel comfortable as a guest in the hotel. Other than that, the place itself is beyond gorgeous and when my family and I were alone swimming we had lots of fun. The kayak staff was incredibly friendly though and an amazing person! I would recommend staying here but be aware that unless you’re speaking in English, lots of staff including the snack shop cashier and the receptionist will treat you like they’re annoyed at your mere presence.

Anthony's Key Resort was a true definition of island getaway. It did not dawn on me until I arrive that the rooms were tucked away on an island. That level of privacy and tranquility is unmatched. Alexza and the other staff are courteous. Highly recommend

If you are an older person with a huge budget then this place is 10/10. Of you are trying to travel somewhat cheap or looking to meet new people this is not the place for you. They try to have you buy everything you need from them and put it on a tab that you pay off at the end of your stay. This tab builds up FAST. In our three days we tried to do things cheaply and travel out of the resort for food and drinks. We had to eat at the resort for 2 dinners. One costed $90USD and the other costed $120USD without any drinks added (food only) this was for two people. Sun screen from their shop was $36USD where as in west end it was $12.
