"Really comfortable and enjoyable stay. Breakfast was amazing and the host was on hand to make our stay welcoming. Parking for each guest at the back of the property. Will definitely stay again if we are in the area."

"A staff member advised that the hotel is focused on catering to venues. A wedding was being held when we were staying. We were advised by the hotel in advance but after booking through Expedia. The best parts of the hotel are reserved for the event leaving hotel guests not part of the event to be catered for in poorer situated parts. On the plus side, the hotel is situated in a stunning location but being on the coast the wind howled outside the room. The overwhelming impression is that guests not part of a function are a necessary afterthought."

"We really enjoyed our weekend away, hotel in a great position & outlook. Lovely that it has the restaurant & pub on site but a short walk down the hill to further shops, pubs, restaurants etc. We chose it for the local walks which were great. A member of staff moved there car for us as the car park was full which I thought was very nice. We found all the staff were friendly. We chose a cosy double room, it was cosy & shower was small, just a corner shower so when we go back next year I’m going to book a bigger room & hopefully get one with a bath that would be nice to soak my tired legs."

"Beautiful Stay Lovely property perfect for a big family We enjoyed our stay here very good location walking distance to the beach restaurants and shops. Parking is very tight but we managed it and also very close car park near by if needed.The house was very clean and tidy on arrival. Option or later check out was also greatly appreciated as when your staying with a large family nice to not have to rush. Would definitely recommend and hopefully return ourselves one day."

"Meine Frau und ich waren für ein paar Tage in diesem tollen Ferienhaus. Das Ferienhaus liegt direkt neben einem Leuchtturm an einer steilen Küste. Auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite vom Leuchtturm befindet sich ein weiteres Ferienhaus, von dem man aber aufgrund der baulichen Trennung nichts mitbekommt.Das Haus war sauber und in der Küche warteten ein paar kleine Geschenke auf uns: Kaffee, Kekse, Brot und weiteres. Alles aus dem Ort Whitby und alles super lecker.Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet - wir haben in der Zeit dort nichts vermisst.Die Lage ist toll. Man kann direkt auf das Meer schauen, die Schiffe beobachten und mit etwas Glück sieht man dort dann sogar Delphine im Wasser.Vom Haus aus kann man direkt loswandern: nach Whitby oder Robin Hoods Bay. Beides sind richtig schöne Touren. Mit dem Auto ist man in wenigen Minuten in Whitby und von dort dann schnell in der Umgebung, die viele schöne Ausflugsziele bietet.Leider gibt es kein WiFi in dem Ferienhaus und der Handyempfang ist nicht sehr gut. Wir mussten in der Regel vor das Gatter am Anfang des Grundstücks gehen, um Empfang zu haben. Das ist einerseits etwas aufwändig für die Planung der Tagestouren aber andererseits auch entschleunigend.Der Leuchtturm ist übrigens noch in Betrieb und wird regelmäßig gewartet. Wir durften bei einer solchen Gelegenheit einmal ins Innere schauen. Toll."
