"Sainsbury is just a short walk from the hotel and Bothams have opened a cafe just up the road. Bothams started as a bakery selling goods from a basket at the market, it has grown into a Whitby succes story and well worth a visit. It gets busy, because it is good. Whitby centre is a short drive away, but the parking is expensive, so a take a walk down the hill, it is only half an hour."

"From reading the reviews and viewings the photos I had a great feeling about the property and felt it really suited the escape I had in mind. And it surpassed all my expectations. The view and idyllic setting of the property, the cosiness of the cottage and the communication/instructions from the owner and responsiveness was all exceptional. I can see why it has so many returning guests. The guest book was great for tips on where to see the wildlife and where to visit. I can't wait to return. Thanks again "
