Lovely vintage motel, steps to the beach

Love how it was right in the center of everything, and only a half a block to the beach. Did not love the lack of water pressure, and that it would go from scalding hot to freeze you in about two seconds with no warning, and back-and-forth. Very easy access, clean, and air. Definitely could have done with a screen on the sliding glass door, because the flies were atrocious. Three fly swatters were provided though. Would also have liked the option to turn off the lights on the balcony, which made the room extremely bright to sleep in.

Dirty

The pictures sure look good online but the inside of the room is very dirty...... hair on bathroom wall, dirty walls and doors, front door looked like it had been kicked in, bed must be 100 yrs old as when you sit on it you sink down about 3 feet. We booked for a week and stayed 1 night. Refused to ruin our vacation. Got a full refund after arguing about the condition. Do not stay here.

Horrible, left early

We only stayed one night instead of two as the bed was horribly uncomfortable and the room felt like a prison room rather than a hotel or home.

It was close to the event, plus I was able explore downtown Rockaway. I would stay here again in the future.

Not as pictured or described

- [ ] No screen in sliding glass door when there’s no ac. (Note: we didn’t expect ac in Rockaway, there’s usually no need. But since the sliding glass door is the only way to get a breeze not having a screen is ridiculous) - [ ] Only 1 (flimsy plastic) chair on deck - [ ] No mirror in main room - [ ] Constant stream of water in tub - [ ] No directions on lockbox - [ ] General disrepair -needs painted, difficult to use and sketchy deadlock, knob missing from dresser - [ ] 3 remotes for tv with no instructions If it hadn’t been for the friendly and helpful housekeeper who just happened to be on site, getting into the room would have been a nightmare. She was the only positive about this place. Also just be aware that the stated price isn’t the actual price you will be paying after the hidden fees pop up.

Clean cute Studio

Renting and checking was a breeze. Our stay was great. The room was clean. They provided towels and a water dish for my pup. The amenities were good. Maybe only downfall would be, I wanted to set out on the deck for fresh air and view and there was a lot of bird droppings that I thought should have been cleaned.

1. I didn't like checking in via a code within my email. Absolutely no employees onsite. 2. Broken dresser drawer knob that came off every time I opened the drawer. 3. Hair dryer was not working. 4. There were 2 of us, staying for 2 nights. Only one tiny shampoo and conditioner was supplied. 5. Only one coffee round filter (one-cup) for single cup coffee maker was supplied. We could not find these in stores (not Keurig cups). 6. Only 1 chair on the balcony. 7. No hangers to hand clothes on the rack provided. 8. Constant stream of water leaking from the bathtub faucet (loud). We called, waited on hold of course for many minutes. Several of these items were suppose to be taken care of and/or brought to us right away. This did not happen. We were brought hangers, shampoos and conditioners. They knew about the leak before we arrived. They couldn't find more coffee, or a 2nd chair for the patio. The other listed items above were not noticed at the time of the phone call.

Sea Treasures Inn

Our stay was overall good. Pretty close to the beach and other parts of the town, within walking or short driving distance. We liked that they provided dog bowls for our dog too. Only downside was the toiletries and toilet paper luckily we weren't staying longer or else we would have ran out, but we assumed they based that on the stay. We also brought our own shampoo and things because they did not have any. The parking is also not that great either as it is set up where you have to park behind someone or them behind you. So that doesn't access to leave whenever.
