You can't beat the ocean view and location! The beach can be easily accessed. There is a little beach trail by the back patio. You can enjoy the view from the inside through large windows facing the water. Cute decor throughout and clean upon arrival.The downstairs bedroom was a little small so we slept upstairs in the loft. There is a nice bathroom upstairs. However, the bathtub might be tricky getting out of if you are not super steady on your feet. It was very cozy and I'd definately stay there again!

What we liked:• Great view of the beach• We could park the car in the garage• Interior was pretty• Wood-burning stove• Best bed in all the VRBO's that we've stayed.What we didn't like:• Poorly outfitted kitchen. No teaspoons. No sauce pans. No wastebasket under the sink. No dishrack for holding items we continually used and handwashed rather than putting in dishwasher. No coffee bean grinder.• The heater in the dining/living area didn't work. • Some floors were dirty with lint, dust bunnies, and a hairball. • The pictures make it look bigger and more spacious than it really is. It's small.This place could be good for a family with kids who can use the beds, bedroom and bathroom in the loft and also have quick access to the beach. It was not cost-effective for the two of us with two small dogs and an expectation of a good kitchen.

Great location, neat property! Hot when sunny...

My kids, my mom, & I thought this was such a great location. Loved the immediate beach access!!! I could watch the kids play on the beach from the living room. Hot tub was a definite perk. Really enjoyed smores & fires on the beach in the evenings.A few thoughts for improvement. The couch needed vacuuming out. The guestbook needs updating as some of the descriptions aren't correct (location of towels, having AC, no kite in garage). We ran out of toilet paper & paper towels. Also, the property was listed as having AC, but it didn't. This was a determining factor in selecting the house, so we were disappointed. The huge sea-facing windows allow tons of sun in (no real blinds) & 3 of the queen beds are in the loft. My 4 kids slept up there and were uncomfortably hot 2 of the 5 nights (thankfully it was overcast the other days & didn't get so hot). I was provided a 1.7% refund for the lack of AC & the listing was corrected not to include AC as an amenity.

What a cute and clean little house, right on the beach! You can tell that thought was put into the items around the house to make it as comfortable as possible for guests, and they did a fantastic job. Plenty of beach towels, extra blankets, and kitchen items like mixing bowls, good quality pans and a Dutch oven. The only thing lacking is a good knife, so if you’re a decent home chef I’d recommend bringing your own, as well as any spices you’ll need. Also there was no sauce pan. But other than these very subjective details, this house provided all we needed for a wonderful stay for our family of four and our sheepadoodle. Highly recommended!!

Love the location of the property but had multiple cleanliness/upkeep issues

The location of the house is ideal for easy beach access. Great for families! We've been coming to this property every year for the past 5 years. This year we had to deal with unacceptable cleanliness issues upon arrival. More issues were discovered throughout our 5 night stay. Unfortunately we may look for a different property next summer.

Cute and cozy little beach house with everything in

We loved staying at this beach house. This house doesn't waste any space and every corner of the house is so cute and functional. We were so lucky to find this property to enjoy our family vacation. If we ever go back to this area, we will definitely try to book this house again. What a lovely place!!

Good house but needs some updates

It is a good house and location. However, we were very disappointed with having to use space heaters. We want to bring our kids back to the location, but this could be a determining factor. Also, the hot tub is nice but could be upgraded. Not all of the Jets worked, and the buttons are completely worn.

Super cute

The house was very cute and had all of the things we needed. Plenty of towels and extra blankets and they had space heaters if we needed them as well. We loved listening to the ocean while we sat in the hot tub!

You won’t regret staying here.

The house is so cozy and well equipped. It was very clean and cozy! I don’t think I can think of something we didn’t like about the property and location. The property management company was great too, super easy check in and check out. Would def stay here again.

Fabulous Location

It's all about the view and this property does not dissapoint. When the property owners finish the upgrades this will be an awesome rental. The kitchen is small, but efficient. The beds are very comfortable. We found everything we were looking for, it's a very well stocked house. Two areas of improvement....the keyless entry is corroded and non-functioning. Customer service from Vacasa on this issue was very dissapointing. After spending 20 min on the phone with Vacasa my phone dropped the call and the Vacasa gal did NOT call me back which really pissed me off. I had to call again, be on hold for another 5 min and then start over with another customer service rep who was, thankfully, much more helpful, informed and efficient. The first gal, instead of saying to us "do you see a lock box with a key anywhere?" We would have been much more appreciative for her to say 'there's a lock box in this location and here's the code' instead of her sending us on a search with no direction. Seriously? That info isn't on file? She was completely lame. Also, the shower knob to turn water on and off is very stiff and doesn't work well. Needs replacing now. The house sleeps 7. That would feel very crowded, 2 or 3 are comfortable. Beyond that, I'd feel very overcrowded. Our housekeeper was awesome. Sweet, helpful and very good at what she does. We asked her where to take our recycling in town and she took it from us and said that she was happy to drop it off for us.

Wonderful Property

The cottage is small but perfect for a couple and our dog. You can't get much closer to the beach. The end of April is the perfect time to avoid crowds and enjoy PNW weather. The cottage is really well stocked with lots of small details (doggy poop bags, coffee station, umbrellas, lots of games, hot tub towels, etc.). Some items could use a few updates but overall it was a great getaway and we would definitely stay here again.

The views, beach access and sounds of the ocean are the best features of the property. The home is older and quirky - for example if you use the kettle, the breaker will trip if anything else on that circuit is on. The washing machine was not out of service with a note that said "Out of service. Vacasa notified on 10/26." They did provide an abundance of towels to make up for it. And, they did not have a back up supply of paper towels. Finding the home in the dark was challenging - the house numbers are on the front by the garage, however they don't stand out. Instead, there is a Vacasa property number that is more prominent. Also, we arrived after 7pm and it was completely dark with no exterior lighting. The 10am checkout was a bit pressing for us and we did feel a bit rushed…especially since check in is at 4pm. With all this said, the location cannot be beat. It is literally right on the beach. And, they allow dogs (just please pick up after your dogs. It was painfully obvious to us the next day that may people didn't do this). The home has many cute touches like the loft with office space, a useable hammock, a daybed and a cute room with bunkbeds and views of the ocean from the floor to ceiling windows. We also enjoyed the pin board in the garage where you can place a pin to show where you are from. And, they had a plethora of beach toys in the garage like surfboards, kites, bikes, etc. but due to the time of year, we were not able to enjoy them. So, we would book again w

Dirty, Run Down, Million Dollar Property

Our trip started by not being able to enter the house, so we had to call the property manager to get a different code for a key box. The electronic door lock never worked, perhaps because it was half rusted out. The TV nearly fell off the wall and no one ever came to fix it, despite our call for maintenance. Dead flies in the window sills, black mold on the screens, bedroom blinds broken and in bad repair, sliding door that barely would slide. Not worth the cost.

Excellent vacation spot!

The location was amazing, right on a beautiful 7 mile beach. We walked on the beach daily with our dog. Great way to start and end the day. The views of the ocean were spectacular from inside the house and the outside patio. The 3 bedrooms were fine for the 4 of us, plus two bathrooms. Nice areas to hang out within the house and relax. The kitchen was good, but not completely clean or stocked. The coffee provided was not sufficient, we had to buy our own. The same with toilet paper. The oven smoked up when we used it, setting off the smoke alarm. This was during the preheat stage. I only mention this things as based on cost, even though it was still low season, you expect a 5 star experience. Overall, we loved the place, the location was supreme. Highly recommend this place to stay.

Perfect winter vacation

Great time. The heater was out but we bought firewood and the portable heaters worked fine. The hot tub was amazing and the view is unbeatable. Kids had an amazing time. Will most certainly come again!

Perfect beach house

The house was so perfect. It had a great view and was adorable inside. The hot tub was nice and even had a view. Unfortunately the heat pump was broken and a space heater stopped working so I had to check out a day early. However, I would definitely select this house again !
