“From the porch, the beach was blocked from view by the roadside sea grass (itself a pretty view) but the ocean beyond is spectacularly in view and it will lull you to sleep all night with the window open. A literal 150 step walk across the street and down through a short sand path opens up a whole beautiful sandy beach where I took long strolls back and forth for hours. ”

“We thought the hotel room was spacious and had zero issues. Having the continental breakfast was great! We actually ate dinner all 3 nights we stayed at the restaurant attached to the hotel because we were tired and it was convenient and delicious! We enjoyed the firepit on the chilly evenings. Walking distance to the beach which was nice even in the off season. ”

“Enjoyed the shuffleboard and the fire pit. If we had another day we would enjoy Horseshoes and Cornhole. The staff is extremely nice. Place in clean in rooms and grounds. Fire pits have a started bucket and all that is needed. The flowers and color full Adirondack chairs really add to the comfortable atmosphere. We will certainly be back !!!! A must stay location a few miles away from the beaches. Great place!!!”

It was an unexpected surprise that made our stay that much better, the suite was clean, delicious pastries were at our door each morning, accommodating food allergies. The Point Judith Light is located on the west side of the entrance to Narragansett Bay, Rhode Island as well as the north side of the eastern entrance to Block Island Sound. The confluence of two waterways make this area busy with water traffic and the waters around Point Judith are very cold and dangerous. The site is very picturesque with plenty of locations to enjoy the seascape and take photos. The grounds are open to the public and there is enough parking space but the lighthouse itself has restricted accessibility since is still an active Coast Guard Station. #lighthouse
