  • Cosy apartment with original flat and windows of 100 years ago, comfortable and spacious, ideal for groups of friends or families. It has a spacious and bright room with three single beds and view on the street for Colosseum and a comfortable double bedroom; the living room has LCD televisions with satellite channels and a sofa; the kitchen has a table for 5 people, is fully equipped with fridge, oven, microwave and LCD televisions with satellite channels..
    The bathroom has a shower, bidet and washbasin.
    The apartment is in a historic building located in the heart of ancient Rome, in front of the picturesque park of Trajan, with fantastic view of the Colosseum and the Fori Imperiali, in a unique position to enjoy the romantic and ancient Rome. Numerous local restaurants and cafes' in the neighborhood; bus and subway to 300 meters allow guests to easily reach any place in Rome. By walk is possible to reach the Colosseum, Roman Forum, the Capitol, the Basilica San Giovanni, the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Campo de 'Fiori, Isola Tiberina, Trastevere, Bocca della Verità. At 50 meters from the 'flat there is the public Park of Trajan with the possibility to spend pleasant leisure time sitting on a bench looking at the Colosseum;also in the park there is a children's playground and a public café.
    With the presence of the owner you can take pictures of the beautiful city view from the terrace of the building.

This is a lovely apartment in a historic area of the city, it really is just a very short walk to the Colesseum and the Forum. Enzo, the host, was on hand at check in and check out and made it very easy for us. There are several "express" and a larger supermarket nearby as well as some excellent restaurants, bars and cafes. The kitchen as all the essentials, but with the excellent food nearby we didn't actually cook in it!

Great location with lots of space for everyone. We were a family of 4 with 2 teenage girls and it was great that they were able to have their own room. Enzo was a very engaging and informative host. Small shower but effective. No aircon but it was fine even in 90 degree F heat. We would definitely stay again.

Die Wohnung ist sehr gut geeignet für 4-5 Personen. Der Gastgeber ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. In der Nähe sind ausreichend Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Das Colosseum ist nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt. Der Bahnhof Termini ist gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Ein guter Ort um Rom zu erkunden! Wir würden wieder dort buchen.

Great location! A 5min walk to the colosseum. Apt was clean and roomy for 4 of us. Enzo was great communicating prior to our arrival and let us store our bags there early (before check-in), He also helped us arrange transportation back to the airport. We really enjoyed our stay. The only downside is this apt does not have air conditioning. We, unfortunately, arrived during a heat wave (95-100degrees) and it was awful sleeping there. I would definitely recommend this apt during cooler times. We loved getting gelato in the evening and hanging out at the colosseum at night!

Big apartment in a great location

We enjoyed our stay at Enzo's. The place was beautiful with old world charm. And I can't say enough good things about the neighborhood and location. It was close to sites, amazing restaurants and public transportation.

Great location! Great host! This apartment had and did everything we needed, except for the internet. Our speeds were only 6 up and 0.2 down. It was not feasible to do any kind of work or upload pics or videos from our adventures. Ask Enzo if he has upgraded the internet :) Otherwise we would definitely stay there again! Get your groceries at Pewex on Via Merulana and don't miss the bakery Forno Monti - we went every day. Buona fortuna!

The location is perfect. The apartment is huge - bigger than we needed. The owner is very helpful. The only downside is that the wifi is painfully slow. For that reason, this is a 4.5 star rating that I rounded up to 5 stars. I would stay again when traveling with family.

Perfect family stay in Rome

Perfectly located apartment a few short minutes walk from the Colosseum, spacious, clean, tastefully decorated and fully appointed. Enzo the host graciously organised transfers from and to the airport, and gave us a friendly welcome on arrival with a complete run through of how things worked. He also provided recommendations of places to eat and see, all of which were spot on. I’d be delighted to stay again one day if I make it back to Rome.

Very large apartment with vintage charm in a preserved historic building next to a park on the site of Nero's villa, and just a few minutes walk to the Colosseum, Forum, Circus Maximus, and more. Very unique old apartment with one side looking over the street, the other into a courtyard. Nice little kitchen for simple meals and sipping coffee. Convenient to almost every neighborhood and historic site in central Rome, and just a few minutes walk to the Termini station. Plenty of groceries, cafes, and small shops within in an easy walking distance. The Colosseum can be seen from one of the windows, but the neighborhood feels removed from the relative chaos of the heavily touristed areas. Enzo was a super friendly, helpful, and easy to contact host. He always responded quickly and was accomidating to our travel plans.

We had a nice week in Rome in family The flat is big and extremely well located, only significant downside is the lack of sonic insulation. Enzo was very kind to us as well.

Location, location, location! If the Colosseum is in your plans, you can’t beat this apartment! Close enough to (literally) see the Colosseum from your bedroom window, but set back enough that you don’t hear the crowds or foot traffic at night! Convenient walk to the Colosseum, grocery, bakery, metro, and (of course!) gelato :) Enzo was a pleasure to communicate with, and he was incredibly accommodating when our flight delays landed us in Rome nine hours later than expected. Enzo was kind, flexible, and very understanding; he even still met us for check in though it was close to 10pm. We were so grateful! Considerations for Americans especially: because this is a (beautiful) historical building, there is no AC. Enzo does provide fans, however. Beds and pillows are a bit flat compared to what we are used to, but not unbearable so. We would absolutely stay here again, without hesitation! Thank you, Enzo!!

Enzo was very helpful and readily available. He met us at the apartment to show us around and provided suggestions for local restaurants, stores, parking and arranged a taxi to the airport for us. The apartment is spacious but a few things to note. It does say so in the listing, but note that there is only one bathroom, which can be tricky for 4-5 people. During our stay the elevator was broken and the wifi was down neither of which was ideal. The neighborhood is lovely but if you plan to sightsee at the standard places, Trevi fountain, Pantheon, Spanish steps, Vatican, etc. it is a bit of a distance away. It is very convenient to the Colosseum, restaurants and the train station.

This was a beautiful apartment in a building with it's original features. Enzo was a great host, and walked us through the apartment when we got there, and made sure we had everything we needed. He also made arrangements for us to get to the airport on our last day in Rome.
