You can also reach Piazza Venezia/Colosseo in 20 minutes on foot. The area is safe both during the day and at night. A few minutes walk from Termini Station, the nerve center of public transport, the neighborhood is full of clubs and restaurants where you can taste typical local dishes, or small trattorias typical of Italian cuisine. The neighborhood is well served by shops, restaurants, post offices, banks, bars and pubs. The best way to get around is the nearby metro A - B, with which you can quickly reach the Colosseum, Spanish Steps, the Vatican, St. Peter's Square, etc. Even at night there are night buses that replace the metro. Just take the N1 at Termini or at any metro station on line A. Exit Termini station in the right direction (having the train tracks behind you), take Via Marsala (left direction), continue straight on in the direction of Via Volturno (about 400 meters ).
