Kleine, zweckmäßige Zimmer mit durchschnittlicher Ausstattung, Bett war etwas durchgelegen, sonst war alles in Ordnung. Das Hotel ist gut geeignet wenn man tagsüber viel unterwegs ist und etwas sucht, wo man preiswert die Nacht verbringen kann, und dabei immer noch ein gewisses Maß an Komfort, aber auch keinen Luxus haben möchte. Lage ist in Ordnung, fußläufig (ca. 15-20min) vom Roma Termini entfernt, einige Restaurants in der Nähe, fußläufig sind‘s ca 30min bis zu den einschlägigen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Check-In und Check-Out laufen vollkommen selbstständig per Schlüsselbox und waren sehr unkompliziert und angenehm, Interaktion mit dem Personal gibts daher nur zufällig oder wenn nötig. Die Rezeption ist die meiste Zeit unbesetzt, dafür gibts bei Anliegen eine WhatsApp-Nummer. Ich persönlich hatte keine Anliegen oder Fragen, sodass mich das nicht gestört hat.

The property was everything that was described. Very close to the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain. No staff on site besides in the mornings for cleaning. Check in instructions were very easy.

This is a self service facility. There are no staff to help you in person. They communicate via WhatsApp. They texted me a PDF with a string of instructions and code to get in the building when you arrive. I wasn't expecting having to stand outside reading a pdf on my phone to figure out how to get in the building and the room. Specially after a long train ride and walk in 95 degree weather. The room and the building are nice though. Just don't expect any service.

Localisation parfaite pour visiter le centre de Rome à pied et/ou en bus. Chambre spacieuse et propre. Le grand lit est très confortable, en revanche le canapé-lit de la chambre familiale est inutilisable en l'état : vieux sommier métallique avec matelas tout fin, on a l'impression de dormir sur des fils de fer (finalement j'ai laissé le lit à ma femme et mes enfants et j'ai dormi par terre!). Nous l'avons signalé au gérant, d'ailleurs très sympathique et à l'écoute. Une réduction dans un bar voisin pour un petit-déjeuner romain frais et délicieux. Et le plaisir d'ouvrir les volets le matin, d'apercevoir le parc de la Villa Borghese et d'avoir un instantané de vie romaine... Globalement un bon rapport qualité-prix, mais ce sera mieux quand ils auront remplacé le canapé-lit !

So this is not like a regular hotel. There is a reception area, but most communication with done over whatsapp, and the reception area is only staffed when they are expecting someone to check in. They send info on how to get in to the building and to the reception area over whatsapp. The elevator is really small and you do have to go up some steps to get to the elevator. They do have housekeeping available every day. The room was clean and comfortable and there are a lot of restaurants nearby. The air-conditioning was the best we had the entire time we were in Europe (we visited 5 different cities), which was good because Rome is HOT! I only gave 3 stars on the to the surrounding area because there is an office building across the street from the hotel and during business hours there is always a crowd of office workers that crosses the street to gather right in front of the entrance to the hotel for their smoke break. If you are a non smoker and you are there during the work week, it can be quite uncomfortable getting in and out of the building because to have to walk through the big cloud of smoke and the office workers leave cigarette butts everywhere.
