We had a wonderful stay at this VRBO in Rome. The apartment is spacious with two bedrooms (one in a loft) and two bathrooms, which made it very comfortable for our family.The location is unbeatable — right in Piazza Navona with excellent restaurants just steps from the front door. You’re within a 30-minute walk to the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Vatican, and Colosseum, making it easy to explore Rome on foot.The area feels safe and quiet at night, while still lively and vibrant during the day. Overall, it’s a great place to stay and we would absolutely recommend it.

no air conditioning the first night, and no hot water the first night, otherwise excellent. Fixed the hot water for night 2 & 3, and air conditioning was operator error on my part, but was not explained.

Apartment was clean but outdated. Walls and cabinets could use a cleaning/paint. Spiral staircase to the loft is very tight. Don't bother trying to bring a suitcase up. Showers need some kind of nonslip material on the floor and handrails. The master bedroom bathroom needs handrails to go down the marble steps especially if your feet are wet. The apt is good for a place to stay in between tourist sites. The location is excellent being in between all of the sites to visit. Walked to a lot of areas. Plenty of food in the area. Used taxis at times. The AC works well. The property manager was very helpful i. Showing us the apt and giving advice on the area.

There were charming aspects to the apartment. We liked the living room area, the door to the apartment was enchanting. However there was a collection of soot? or dirt? that kept building up in the second floor bathroom. Having the bathrooms for each bedroom was unexpected and not ideal during the night.The number of keys was 'awkward', especially when the hall light would go out if it took too long to open the door.We did really like the location...found a coffee shop we liked for the morning and a restaurant nearby at which we ate dinner every night and at least one lunch.

Property not representative of the online photos. Property was very dark and had a very musty smell to the place. Cleanliness was absolutely below than expected with a dirty cloth left on the bath tub from previous cleaning. Extremely unhygienic.One mini soap was left for hand washing and 2 ketchup sized shampoos for our 6 day stay. As well for the week. 3 people were left with one bath towel each/ One face cloth and one hand towel / each for the entire week. We came all the way from Canada and expected a more for the price. Nothing in the ad talked about the 104 stairs you need to take up to the room …. Wow. Yes there was an elevator that fit one person and a small suitcase. Anything more and the elevator would not work. Overall. Very very disappointed with this property…for the price you could find something better and clean…..

Kitchen could’ve stepped up their game with nicer wine glasses / beer mugs, just a better way to enjoy a drink. You are in Italy who are we kidding your not cooking so the rest to me wasn’t important. Great location..key! The apartment is old but charming..would definitely stay there again!

Host was very helpful setting up transportation from and to the airport. Location is great, steps away from Piazza Navona and walking distance to most major tourist locations. Apartment was clean and beds were comfortable. 2nd bedroom is in the loft, tight getting up spiral staircase but workable. Fan up there was nice distributing the AC on hot Rome nights. 4th level of the building, used the elevator a lot. It’s a typical tiny elevator, can be tricky to squeeze everyone in and clear the door sensors, but never had to wait to use it.

Valerio who greeted us was excellent. Polite and informative. Great location and the family was sad to leave after our 5 nights. So much to see and do. Will love to visit again in the future.

Perfect place to stay in the center of Rome

Family of 5 stayed for 3 nights prior to a cruise. Location cannot be beat. Everything you want to see is within 1-1.5 mile walk and the streets are safe and upbeat. Owners are responsive and can provide great recommendations for restaurants, sites, and can book rides to and from where you are going. Apartment is on the 4th floor and stairs are the most convenient way to get up and down so make sure you can walk. Room could use painting and more comfortable furniture. The dining room table chairs are uncomfortable and if you are using the pull out sofa, there is no other place to sit after a long day. Master bath is really cool and the place has character and will add to the overall experience of visiting Rome. Did I mention the convenience of the location? Excellent food, gelato, coffee, shopping, and more within blocks and at every turn in this neighborhood, you will find a jaw dropping church, fountain, Piazza, and historical site.

This apartment was very good for our family of 5 (children ages 16, 19, 21). It is in a very central location...we bought the metro pass and only used 1 day to travel to Forums / Colosseum area. The apartment itself in on the 4th floor (5th floor if you count the first floor as floor 1). This is a small elevator that is best for 1 person or luggage. We were glad to have that since there is a lot of stairs to climb. This a two bedroom / 2 bathroom apartment with one separate bedroom as one bedroom and the loft as the second bedroom. The first bedroom had a bathroom accessed via a stone spiral staircase. It could be precarious to navigate in the dark during the night. The other bathroom can be used for those middle of the night bathroom breaks. The beds were relatively thin and the bedding was very basic. There is two pillows per double bed, with no extras. A request was made for more pillows and there was no response to this request. There are two AC units in the apartment, which were mostly effective during our stay (it is hot in Rome in June). The second one in the main area appeared to stop working on the last night, so hopefully that will be addressed. Both bathrooms were nice, the showers were good by European standards. Not squatting in the tub with a hand-held shower head as in some other places. The apartment, while clean, could use some updating. The furniture was pretty old. Overall, we would stay here again for the location and especially if the bedding was updated

Most incredible location and apartment. We are a family of 6 from Austin, TX - my wife and I had a king bed and room and bathroom to ourselves and our 4 kids split btwn a big sleeper sofa (for the 9 and 11 year old) and another king bed for the 16 & 18 yr olds (in the loft). They had their own bathroom. The apartment has 2 mini split ACs which cool down fast and the walls are so old and thick/solid that noise is not an issue. If we go back to Rome we will definitely stay here again. Oh, and the host met us and walked us through everything during check in and offered to help us find rides from the airport.

Excellent apartment in a great neighborhood. Classic. Unique. Top Floor. Partial view of Navona Square. Interesting. Fascinating layout. Two Baths. Comfortable showers with plenty of hot water and comfortable beds. Two different spiral stairs. Clean and comfortable. We enjoyed it for three nights. Recommended.
