Pantheon Romantic Nest with Terrace

Rome is where we set our scene of enchanted streets, rustic homes and terrace views. This apartment is a romantic little cove representing all that is so distinctly Roman. The wooden beams and cotto floors create a homely and rustic atmosphere while the elegant furnishing create a refined atmosphere befitting the noble neighbourhood.
The finely renovated apartment is perfect for a couple with everything necessary for creating a romantic getaway. The unique location is an ideal starting point to explore the Eternal City.
The lovely terrace looks out over the rooftops of the area around the Pantheon, a perfect spot for a home-cooked dinner or a glass of wine to absorb all the new discoveries. The apartment is in the very midst of the historical centre of Rome, neighbouring a myriad of restaurants and wine bars, with sights such as Piazza Navona with Bernini’s Four River’s fountain, the Spanish Steps as well as the Imperial Forum a short walk away.
The apartment features a bedroom on the loft, a small bathroom with a bath tib, a kitchen and a living room with terrace.

Very disappointed!!!

Very disappointed, electricity kept going out, 2 can not share the tiny bed, chairs had springs sticking out causing a huge cut to my leg. Bedroom so small no way 2 share. No place for luggage or drawers to unpack. Loft creaks any time someone above moves. I slept on what is supposed to be a daybed and daybed was almost on the floor. EXTREMELY SMALL!!’ Looks like flea market furnishings inside. Washer doesn’t operate properly. No towels on arrival, elevator fits one person and and luggage stinky sweat box. Bathroom is a disaster, shower is tiny inside, the tub getting out is hazardous , nothing to hold onto. Water heater inside the shower and nothing to hold onto unless to hold onto PVC PIPE THAT IS NOT ATTACHED TO WALL. Getting out and you might want to kiss the bidet while on the toilet , it’s that close if you’re more than 5’3 don’t even bother!! two people can’t stand in the kitchen at one time and freezer door doesn’t close properly all in all I would definitely not recommend this property to anyone with any standards…..😡 I realize Rome is very old and has properties that been there for centuries, but proper care and diligence to your renters is expected especially when paying for 5 days over $1100… definitely want my money back!! When electricity went out, they expected me to go down for flights of stairs into the dark dungeon to reset the breakers I refused. Property management referred me to another number which was not happy to have to come cut.. No bueno VRBO!

I would stay here again

My wife and I enjoyed this apartment, but the truth is that we did not used it to the max. We spent most of the time exploring Rome and the surroundings. The apartment is very quiet. There are 68 steps to get to it, but there is also a lift. The terrace is perfect for a morning coffee or an afternoon Proseco. We were met by the door for our check in which only took a couple of minutes and then we had no need to contact them again. I would stay here again.

Great location. If you dint mind staying in a little older house, this is perfect for you. We loved the fact that we were very close to all of the historical sites. The check in process was easy and very helpful. They even provided us with a bottle of wine. Great host.

Great location but not upkept

The location was excellent and the service and staff were helpful. Unfortunately the furniture in the living room was old and the couch not really usable. The two side chairs are falling apart: the terrasse had no flowers only empty pots amd no umbrella to shelter from the sun! Most disappointing was the fact that there was monotype opener or wines glasses - in Italy ?? The place needs a facelift and some updates - for the price , I would not return.

Une semaine au coeur de Rome

L'appartement est idéalement placé, près du Panthéon, pour visiter toute la ville à pied. Il donne sur une cour intérieure très calme et dispose d'une agréable terrasse. Seuls défauts: la chambre et la salle de bain sont très exigües. Mais le salon a une bonne taille. Et le prix n'est pas trop déraisonnable.

Great location, poor amenities

Great location, stairs and elevator as described. Could have been charming but the furniture was really old and shabby, bed pillows were ancient and seemed unhealthy (were replaced when we complained), bed linens were not replaced during our three week stay, odd assortment of pans and utensils, but worst of all was the bath tub where a previous repair was peeling off in large flakes - it looked bad and felt worse. We liked the portiere, however.

Nice week in Rome

Awesome location, everything we wanted to see is within a few minutes’ walk. The apartment itself is comfy, and WWTS is fantastic. I had an issue paying, seems like it was caused by booking on VRBO but paying Wonder where to Stay - every time I tried to pay it said my dates were already booked. But- they let me check in and get the keys, and go over to their office later to pay for the booking. Also arranged our taxi to the airport at 4am when it was time to go home. Dealing with them was a pleasure!

Great Stay in Terrific location

Fabulous location and great space! Furniture covers need to be washed or replaced. But that is a very minor detail in an overall terrific place.

Location was perfect

This apartment is only 2-3 blocks from the Pantheon so very centrally located. We could walk to several major tourist sights. Lots of great restaurants and shops nearby as well. The apartment had everything we needed for our short stay and was very lovely and clean. One thing to point out…if you have any mobility issues this place could be a little bit of a challenge. There is an elevator to the 3rd floor where the apartment is located but you need to walk up a couple flights of stairs to get to the elevator. The elevator is tiny and very slow. In the apartment, the steps to go to the bedroom are steep. These are not complaints. Just merely pointing out details of the situation for those that may have some limitations. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

Perfect Location

We loved our stay. It was a perfect location for Rome and a safe building. After walking the city there are lots of stairs. I would definitely rent this place again. It was warm and the AC was good.

We loved the process but unfortunately the property was a disappointment. The furniture was old dirty and some broken. Worse we’re the safety issues. No hand rails on steep stairs, small but dangerous floor lifts. Bathroom tight and outdated.

Great location to get around Rome and great neighborhood

Perfect for my daughter and I for space. Loved the patio for morning coffee and time to relax. AC worked well for the very hot days while we were there. Close to restaurants, coffee and walkable to everything.

Loved this property and the neighborhood.

Centrally located for all walking excursion, safe neighborhood with amazing cafe's, restaurants, shopping and bars. Was quaint flat with needing a few upgrades but did not distract from the overall experience.
