Our stay in the Picasso apartment was fantastic. Everything is as shown in the listing. It was plenty of space for our 4 adults, and the street the apartment is located in is quiet and a lovely stroll. Mrs Benedetta was extremely helpful and we had a comfortable place to return to after long days exploring.
Large apartment in an excellent location for us and our two sons. We walked everywhere and ate in some great restaurants nearby (Polese, È Passata la Moretta Osteria Romana di un Tempo and Bernini’s). There’s also a small coffee shop a few doors along from the apartment which was great for a quick sandwich and a drink one afternoon. We especially found the lounge to be a great size to relax in after we’d been out on an evening. If I’m being very picky the largest bathroom could do with re-grouting around the bath and the kitchen could maybe do with a normal electric kettle with a filter in it. But this did not spoil our stay in any way.Benedetta arranged private transfers for us and met us at the apartment and gave us some ideas of places we hadn’t thought about visiting (Jewish Quarter was beautiful). We had an amazing 4 night stay and would definitely recommend the apartment.
My family and I really enjoyed our stay in this Rome apartment near the Vatican, the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, shops and restaurants. It has old world charm with modern conveniences such as air conditioning, a washing machine and free wi-fi. Plenty of space as well with 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths - the property manager was extremely nice and was there to great us when we arrived. We would stay here again.
If you're looking for somewhere central and within walking distance of all of the main attractions this is perfect. Very tidy and clean, friendly and helpful owner. Stayed here for nearly 2 weeks, home from home.
We had a wonderful time in Rome. The property was so close to everything. It made it easy to walk everywhere. The neighborhood is quiet. Bernadetta is amazing. So helpful, friendly. We will be going back to both for sure.
Our family of four (two adults and our college-age children) spent the week here in Rome for spring break. The location was excellent for a busy week of sightseeing. Be sure not to miss the wine bar Il Goccetta and the Forno Monteforte bakery on Banchi Vecchio and Via del Pellegrino--you won't be disappointed! And, you'll love coming back to the apartment to relax after a long day of walking--plenty of space to spread out in a well-appointed space with views of Roman rooftops!
I definitely recommend this lovely property! Very clean and comfortable with fabulous mini balconies and views. The AC was really appreciated since we stayed during the summer! Overall a great apartment!
Location perfect! Everything as promised. Benedetta was not only lovely and kind but extremely helpful with transfer arrangements and dining suggestions.
Spacious, comfortable and well located apartment in central Rome. Benedetta was incredibly friendly and helpful. Our only reservation was regarding the plumbing which requires upgrading.
We had a lovely short stay in this beautiful 2 bedroom apartment. The location is great and the accommodation was very clean and tidy. With great service from the property manager Benedetta. For example, we noticed a few minor maintenance issues at the end of our visit, but the she advised they would be fixed immediately.
All in all, highly recommended.
This apartment is in a great location! We walked to most of the sights. Mrs. Benedetto was very helpful in storing our luggage since we arrived early in the morning. We also used the pick up service and that worked out well.
This apartment is in a great location just a short walk to ancient Rome and the Vatican. This is beautiful flat that has all of the amenities you need for your visit. We stayed in mid June and the air conditioning was MUCH appreciated. Your host is super friendly and made us feel very welcomed. Would definitely recommend.
The town of Perugia is a magical place. The restaurants are wonderful and the people are a delight. The apartment is spacious and beautiful with fabulous antiques! We were met at our taxi by Constanza who showed us how to use everything. She’s great and we enjoyed meeting her.
This is a wonderful and comfortable apartment in a great location, close to historic sites, restaurants and shops. It has lots of space, was well equipped for our family, and we would definitely stay here again. Benedetta checked us in, coordinated our transfer from the airport, helped us with lots of information about the city, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay.
Large and super clean. Air conditioning in living room and both bedrooms was a life saver. Lift only worked on day #1 which helped with luggage, every other day was 4 flights of stairs, ok for us but hard for some I’m sure. Property manager was accessible and accommodating. Super safe and walkable neighborhood.
Awesome apartment
Well appointed with family heirloom furniture.
Comfortable bed in master, 2 twin beds in second bedroom
2 nice bathrooms
Very large apartment on 3rd floor, 66 steps, but building does have lift
We have booked this apartment again for 1st of June 2024.
Property is all that it is advertised to be.
Very will appointed, comfortable beds, shower in the master is a little awkward getting in and out of for the older members, but we used the other shower. A/C units all work well.
Every morning fresh pastries, rolls and bread as well as coffee at the Furno Monteforte 3 on Via Del Pellegrino.
Shopping at either “Carrefour Express” and “PAM Local” on Vittorio Emanuele II
We all very much our stay in this large, lovely apartment.
Really hot in Rome in August. Great air conditioning for all rooms.
We also had an incident when my wife’s purse was stolen at a restaurant. Mrs Benedetta was very helpful in suggestions on who to speak to, etc including offering to speak to the restaurant. So very helpful!
Great Location, large space with a Great Apartment Manager!
This property is as described in the listing. Spacious and calm space. On the 3rd floor but there is an elevator, so those having difficulty with stairs can enjoy. It only a 10 minute walk to the Vatican, just steps away from the Tiber River. The property sits on a pretty swank back street with lots of small coffee houses, art shops, and restaurants. The apartment manager, Benedetta, is just lovely, laid-back, and funny. She made check in a breeze and was available at anytime.
We had a great stay at the Picasso flat for a week in Rome. The location is great - we walked everywhere easily or took the bus and/taxi if needed.
The owner communication was great and easy. The local host was accessible and met us on arrival to get us settled.
The flat is on the 3rd floor (EU) so lots of stairs but there is a small elevator if needed - and for luggage! Note, there are still.a few stairs to get to the elevator if that’s an issue for anyone in your party.
There definitely is noise from the street and the city - Rome isn’t quiet! But it does settle down mostly at night and isn’t bad. Just be aware - that’s going to be an issue anywhere in the city though.
Definitely would recommend!
We very much enjoyed our stay. This location was wonderful. Walking distance to many wonderful restaurants, and nearby cafe and grocery shoppe. Vatican was an easy walk across the bridge. We found the bus and metro system very simple and an essi le from this location. Benedetta was wonderful and gracious. Easy communication and very kind. She helped arrange a private airport transfer which was seamless. Apartment was spacious with wonderful high ceilings and great light.
The primary bedroom was very comfortable as was the large sofa bed. The 2 single beds in the second bedroom would be best suited to children rather than adults. On the 3rd floor but there is a small lift for those with mobility issues.
We would certainly stay here again as a family or with friends.
Thank you for the lovely stay.
Our family of 4 adults stayed from 27 Dec '24 - 06 Jan '25. Easy to walk to all the major sites if you are active and mobile. Also very close to the bus stops, but yet tucked out of the way, just 2 streets off a main artery. A couple of doors down is an independant Café (espresso bar) with the standard morning offerings/ sandwiches. Lovely people. The apartement itself is quite large by European standards. The entrance foyer has a table and chair. The kitchen was a bit dim. The extractor hood/ light was not working. I made the property manager Benedetta aware and she indicated they would have it replaced. We were able to make pasta and sauce and reheat food. The fridge was a good size. The Bialetti pod espresso maker - it's just easier to get your morning espresso at the bar down the street! or use the Moka pot on the gas stove.Plumbing in Europe in general is not "flush and forget". This was no exception. Everything worked, it just required a little coaxing. If you run a bath, do not open the drain wide as water will come up out of the floor drain - slow draining was totally fine. The washing machine was perfect for small loads. When we did have trouble with the washer, Benedetta had a service person in and out before the end of the day. The sofa and chairs could use some new cushions. Main bedroom has a walk-in-closet!Check out Taverna Giulia - solid food, not trendy but excellent.Thank you Benedetta and Alessandro - New Year's in Rome, what a memory!
