Las personas a quienes pedimos ayuda eran muy gent

No era nuestra espectativa ya que via internet no pone que no tiene baño privado, no tiene ascensor y es arriba la pieza para una persona mayor fundamental. El pin de la puerta se encuentra afuera y para salir de adentro no está al alcance para ver los números. Muchas veces tenía que pedir ayuda a los que pasaban por la calle para que nos ayude a abrir el portón.

Hotellin ikkunasta näkyy Vatikaanin muuri eikä portillekaan ole pitkä matka. Hyviä ruokapaikkoja kävelyetäisyydellä. Ei mikään turistirysä, mutta miellyttävä paikka ja ystävällinen henkilökunta.

Der Check-In verlief ungewöhnlich aber eben problemlos. Das Personal setzte sich mit uns via WhatsApp in Verbindung, um mit uns bezüglich der Schlüsselübergabe in Kontakt zu bleiben. Wir wurden möglichst um eine Ankunftszeit am Hotel gebeten. Das verlief alles problemlos, wobei wir aber auch maximal 10 Minuten zu spät waren. Ich kann nicht sagen, wie es sich bei einem zweiten Termin verhalten hätte. Ich mache in Stichworten weiter, weil Menschen nicht gerne Romane lesen: Positiv: -Modernes Zimmer -Sauberes Zimmer -Exzellente Klimaanlage -Kleines aber feines und leckeres, auf dem Zimmer serviertes, Frühstück (Croissant, Kaffee und Fruchtsaft: Wem das nicht reicht, hat den Preis nicht gesehen!) -Um Perfektion bemühtes und freundliches Personal. -Zu Fuß in 10 Minuten im Vatikan und anderen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Negativ -Der Duschkopf war leider etwas defekt, weshalb er das Wasser quer in der Dusche verteilte, was wir aber hätten ansprechen müssen, als wir eben gefragt wurden, ob denn alles OK sei. Fazit: Man hat definitiv einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt bei diesem jungen engagierten Team.

Akzeptable Pension in guter Lage

Die Pension liegt direkt an der Vaticanische Mauer. Weit genug vom Eingang weg so das man nicht sofort in eine Traube Touristen läuft und doch gut gelegen zur Metro, Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Der Empfang war freundlich. Zimmer ist eher einfach gehalten und leider hat das Bad kein Fenster so das es recht feucht ist. Frühstück auf dem Zimmer mit Hörnchen, Saft und Kaffee war in gut und der Reinigungsservice jeden Tag da. Ein Kühlschrank und ein Babybett waren auch bereit gestellt. Wer eine Schlafmöglichkeit sucht die nicht zu teuer und zweckmäßig ist, ist hier richtig :)

Ne répondent pas au téléphone, ni à l'interphone. On a du attendre que quelqu'un ouvre le portail ! Pas de chauffage, en janvier. Et on sent le vent frais via les fenêtres. Interphone extérieur qui sonne dans la chambre d'hôtel ! Petit déjeuner très simple. BEAUCOUP de bruit, même très tard (on entend même le sèche cheveux de la chambre voisine). Des entrées de clients très tard. On entend tout. La triple Room est petite, surtout la salle de bain / toilettes. Les points positifs : accueillants, non loin de la place Saint Pierre.

Great Bread and Breakfast.

Great place to stay. Helpful staff. Location was directly across the street from Vatican City wall, and access to Vatican City entrance was just a 20 minute walk away. Restaurants within walking distance, as well as grocery store. Missed not having a microwave or small fridge option though, as it seems they expect guests to meals (other than breakfast) out in restaurants. Otherwise, a very enjoyable place to stay. Am planning on staying there again on my next visit to Vatican City.

A 25 Minute Walk to the Main entrance of Vatican

Be prepared to use stairs, if you are on the 3rd floor and to share bathroom. We had to wait outside for a while. Staff don't start till 8:00. I was told it was only 8 minute walk to the Vatican. Darlene was very nice and professional.

B&B opposite Vatican Gardens

Breakfast is prepared in the narrow corridor and served in your room or the garden. Place is good for an undemanding couple who are more interested in sightseeing than resting in a hotel. There is an excellent gelateria half way between B&B and Metro.

Hotel accueillant, simple mais confortable.

après une petite frayeur à l'arrivée, (personne ne répondait à l'accueil du petit l'hôtel) nous avons pris possession de notre chambre. Ravis car contrairement au descriptif, nous avions une salle de bain privée... Petit déjeuner un peu fantaisiste, un jour opulent, le lendemain frugale, mais le personnel a le sourire... Bonne ambiance. Le bruit de la rue est très présent jusque tard dans la nuit.

Pension zur Vatikan-Mauer

einfache Pension mit netten Besitzer, zum übernachten für Kurzreise um Rom anzuschauen ideal, da die Pension ca. 100 m vom Eingang Vatikanmuseum nur entfernt ist und man sehr zentral liegt. Ansonsten eher einfach eingerichtet, aber sauber.

Vatican Garden House ligger tæt på Peterskirken

Dejligt sted at bo , ikke langt til forretninger og tæt ved Peterskirken. Metro og busser var også i nærheden hvis man ville feks. til colloseum eller nogle af de andre mange seværdiheder. Betjeningen på Garden House var fuld ud tilfridsstillende, søde og imødekommende og kom gerne med gode råd hvis man spurgte om hvor man evt. skulle tage hen næste dag. Lejligheden vi havde var altid pæn ren og med rene håndklæder hver dag. Der blev banket på døren på det tidspunkt man havde bestilt morgenmaden til, og så blev den leveret. GOD SERVICE

One member of staff knew what they were doing

Lets start with the positives - the location is great. However I cannot recommend this hotel. Despite notifying the hotel when I was arriving (they contacted to ask me), when I arrived there was no one to check us in (at 2pm). The phone numbers listed on the gate were disconnected, except for one. Stranded outside we ended up in the garden of the proprietor for the building and eventually someone vaguely connected to the building let us in. This person apparently did not work for the hotel but had access to keys and took our money, without providing any receipt. On returning to the hotel, we went to the gate for 'Vatican Garden House' and could not gain access to the building. Again we phoned the number that worked, only to be told that the member of staff would 'try' to get to us in 20 minutes. When she arrived she treated us like idiots for going through the wrong door (which could have easily been resolved over the phone).The following morning we were expecting breakfast which never arrived. It was only by being opportunistic that we were able to find the helpful morning member of staff who apologised profusely and made us a special breakfast, she also agreed to accommodate us by preparing breakfast earlier for our day of departure so we could eat before leaving. So if you like hanging around next to a wall for over an hour and spending money on international calls then this is the place for you. However I will be going elsewhere when I next return to Rome

Gästehaus in direkter Nachbarschaft zum Vatikan.

24 Stunden Rom, tolle Stadt, demnächst längerer Aufenthalt. Wirklich gut ausgestattete, saubere Zimmer zu einem fairen Preis, gute Anbindung an die Metro (Haltestelle Cipro 10 Minuten entfernt), Vatikan und Engelsburg fußläufig sehr gut zu erreichen.

Hilly location, bit grimy

Well, its a budget hotel, so go with lower expectations. It seems a bit like a converted apartment, there's some shared facilities, so be careful to book ensuite. Quite modern but a bit tired and mould in the shower, cleaning cloth just left in the middle of the table, suspicious stains on scatter cushions.... Bed very comfy and a good base for the Vatican, however quite a walk from everything else. Its on a hill and you have to walk up and round the walls to find it. Lots of stories about not being able to get in as no 24 hr reception, but they did stay and wait for me so I was lucky..another man was complaining at me about being charged for a night when he couldn't get in, I explained I didn't work there. Also there isn't a dining room and it was cold... Breakfast is not really worth having there, save your money and have breakfast out, there are many options, you're in Rome. It was ok for a couple of nights, and when we worked out the metro, but wouldn't go back there. Try and stay nearer the train station would be my advice unless you like hills!

Rommene jeg sov i hadde rene laken og håndduker, men det var endel støv i kroker og oppå skap. Stedet bar preg av å være slitt. Det store plusset var hyggelige, smilende og velvillige ansatte.

BASIC BUT GREAT VALUE

It is a great location. The Vatican is right there. The people really look after you well. It is like a dorm room with white IKEA type furniture. Tv did not work. Could use a mirror in the room and a little night table. It is a shared bathroom but it was clean and a good size. It is safe. It was a single room so was fine for a 2 night stay. Room was in good condition and clean.

Enttäuschung

Bin am 2. Tag unseres Aufenthaltes bestohlen worden, aus unserem Zimmer ist meine lederne Handtasche entwendet worden. Leider wusste ich nicht, was in der tasche konkret war, aber seitdem vermisse ich meinen Schlüsselbund mit sämtlichen wichtigen Schlüssel. ( Zeuge Herr J.S, mein Partner) Das Hotel stellt sich stur., ist nicht gewillt meinen Schaden zu ersetzen. Wir haben den Verlust sofort an Ort gemeldet, weder das philippinische Zimmermädchen, noch das asiatische Hauspersonal, noch die italienische Besitzerin, noch der schwarzafrikanische Portier haben etwas darüber wissen wollen. Wie überall, das Hauspersonal hat Schlüssel zu den Zimmern.
