"Our waiter at the outside dining room was exceptional. Very personable , pleasant and well mannered. His name is Paulo ( Paul). The entire staff was very pleasant and helpful but Paulo stood out. Service such as his should be rewarded with a promotion and a large raise."

"We had a pleasant stay overall. The apartment is located in a beautiful, quiet, and safe neighborhood, making it a relaxing place to come back to after a day of exploring Rome. The apartment itself was comfortable and well maintained. A special thank you to Gloria at the front desk, who was absolutely amazing. She was warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Her excellent customer service truly made us feel at home. The only reason for the 4-star rating is the location. While the property is advertised as being close to Trastevere, it was about a 20-minute walk away, and the historic center was approximately a 45-minute walk. During the summer heat, walking those distances wasn’t very practical, so we ended up spending more on taxis and Uber than we had anticipated. One other thing to note is that the bedroom does not have a door. This wasn’t an issue for us since we were traveling as a family, but guests who value more privacy may want to keep that in mind. If it’s your first time visiting Rome and you plan to spend most of your time sightseeing, staying closer to the historic center may be more convenient. However, if you value a peaceful neighborhood and don’t mind using transportation, this is still a lovely place to stay."

"We had a wonderful stay at Villa Zaccardi and felt it offered excellent value for money. The staff were exceptionally polite, friendly, and accommodating. They kindly allowed us to check in two hours early and even upgraded us to a more spacious room with a balcony, which was a lovely surprise. The breakfast was outstanding, with a great selection of fresh and delicious food. The hotel has a wonderful atmosphere in the evenings thanks to the excellent restaurant downstairs. It creates a cosy, relaxed vibe that’s perfect after a day of sightseeing. The location was ideal for us, as we mainly wanted to explore western Rome, the Vatican City, Trastevere, and the surrounding areas. I would highly recommend Villa Zaccardi to anyone looking for great comfort, peaceful rest, friendly service, and excellent value for money. We would happily stay here again."
