This is an absolutely amazing to stay… felt like a home away from home. The check-in was seamless as was the checkout and the assistance in between was exceptional. I highly recommend this property.

Ryder Cup trip

We enjoyed our 2 week holiday on outskirts of Rome. It was a nice spacious and comfortable bungalow that is very close to a train station and bus stops connecting to Rome and surrounding areas as well as the Marco Simone Golf Course. Pascale met us and also helped us get an early departure at the station. We thoroughly recommend it.

Wonderful and spacious home

Good size home, hidden from hustle and bustle of Rome! The only thing is very hard to find. The number of this home is not clearly stated on street sign! Once you’re in you forget everything else!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Simone, the house location for visiting Rome was exceptional with easy links via the train station some 200 metres away. Local restaurants were good which saved us having to drive out to other locations. We took advantage of the easy train link into Rome many times visiting the sights in our leisure and popping in for dinner on a couple of occasions. Road access to surrounding towns villages and the coast were good and we would recommend taking time out to visit the medieval town of Orvieto, along with the towns of Castel Gandolfo, Frascati and Tivoli. A great time had by all.

Unforgettable holidays in Rome

The whole family has been delighted with the house. It had 3 spacious rooms, a wonderful garden, green surroundings and 2 bathrooms. In the house everything was fine for us, and it allowed us to relax and rest from the hot summer in Rome and from the visits to the great monuments. It has a train station very close, but in the end we use the ittaxi app to call a taxi to go everywhere. The manager of the house, Pascale, gave us an excellent welcome and she has been attentive to our questions. We would definitely book this house again.

Great location to explore Rome but also have a spacious Appartement and garden to relax

We enjoyed our stay in Villa Simone! It is an easy travel by train and Metro to the city centre which takes about 40 to 60 minutes depending on the site you wish to visit (incl. Walking). The house is located close to the train station which makes it easy to walk there but you will also hear the train and traffic when sitting outside. This did however not disturb us too much. The house is very well equipped and was very clean. There are also a few restaurants in walking distance. We enjoyed the food in Il Bivacco, can recommendate! All in all a great place to stay and explore the wonderful city of Rome!

Our month long stay-

Kitchen has everything you would need if you like to cook...and we do! House is spacious-House is secure with fence -gate-lights and fence and hill surrounding it. There are huge metal shutters on each door and window that must be locked and shut whenever u depart. Takes some getting used to. The house has marble floor throughout. The floor is freezing and I highly recommend a large nice area rug at least in main living room so u don't have freezing cold feet. We stayed a month- The yard is nice but the planters on patio shown on VRBO are filled with weeds...I'd recommend having a gardener tend to it and look more attractive year round. It would not take much effort. The house is supplied with plenty of towels. Both bathrooms are very nice. There are many books and they have a washer and dryer in basement. We are from America-we only speak English. It would have been nice to have instructions on things in English also instead of Italian. We have traveled to Italy many times n Rome several...in the last 14 years. I have to say Rome has gone downhill. Horrible Graffiti on every single thing and trash littered everywhere throughout the country side of Rome even where we were staying. It's disgusting! We would never return to Rome if you paid us...We choose this house because it was close to the train station-We were mugged 3x in one week on train system. My husband lost everything! Police could care a less! They just shrug their shoulders-

Très bon accueil. La maison est très bien. Grande pièce à vivre ainsi qu'une cuisine qui ne manque de rien. 2 terrasses dont 1 avec fauteuils et table basse pour se détendre donnant sur un jardin.Nous avons passés de très bonnes vacances

Schönes Haus

Das Haus hat uns gut gefallen. Wir hatten alles was wir brauchen inkl. Klimaanlage, die im Juli echt gut war. Der Weg zum Bahnhof war sehr kurz. Wir haben die Bahn täglich genutzt um in die Innenstadt zu fahren um sie zu besichtigten. Es gab immer einen Ansprechpartner der uns in deutscher Sprache per WhatsApp geantwortet hat. Man hat die Straße und die Bahn von der Terrasse etwas gehört.

Oase van rust op goede locatie

We hadden een prima verblijf in dit huis! Het is rustig gelegen, een verademing na de drukte van de stad. Binnen is alles keurig onderhouden, buiten is het hier en daar wel wat rommeliger (zou netter kunnen). Maar zeker een fijne plek om als uitvalbasis te gebruiken tijdens een citytrip!

De perfecte woning om Rome te ontdekken!

We hebben een heel leuk verblijf gehad. Het huis is met smaak ingericht en straalt rust en klasse uit. De ontvangst was heel hartelijk en probleemloos. Dus, kortom, als je een woning zoekt om Rome en omstreken in alle rust te verkennen, niet twijfelen!

Sehr Schöne Unterkunft

Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt - sehr freundlicher Empfang., sehr sauber, toller Gartenbereich Fidene selbst ist jetzt nicht sooo prickelnd- der Bahnhof liegt *) direkt um die Ecke - nach Rom Tiburtina sind es 15 min. Wir haben das Haus wegen der Nähe zu Rom gebucht. Die Lage war für unsere Planung top *) der Bahnhof hat aber lärmtechnisch nicht gestört

Een fijne plek om tot rust te komen

Het verblijf in Villa Simone is fantastisch. Na een drukke dag in overvol Rome is het heerlijk ontspannen in de tuin. Wat een rust en weg van de mensenmassa en het lawaai. Het huis maakt alle verwachtingen waar. Station Fidene ligt op enkele minuten loopafstand. Met de Carta Integrata Settimanale (7 dgn) reis je een hele week voor € 24,00 door Rome met trein, metro, tram en bus. Gemakkelijker kan het niet en tot 23:00 stopt er nog een trein in Fidene. Supermercati Castoro ligt vlakbij. We werden enthousiast ontvangen door Pascale. We hebben een fantastische tijd gehad in Villa Simone.

Paradijselijke luxe

Wij verbleven met veel plezier in deze ruime en volledig naar wens ingerichte villa, omgeven door een prachtige tuin. De beide ruime en goed ingerichte terrassen gaven volop gelegenheid tot ontspanning. De auto stond geparkeerd in een koele ruimte onder het huis, prettig bij in- en uitladen. De ontvangst en de contacten met Pascale namens de eigenaresse waren uitermate vriendelijk. Het was heel handig dat het treinstation en een supermarkt op loopafstand zijn. Wij hebben zeer genoten van onze bezoeken aan Rome, zowel per trein en metro als per taxi. We hopen in de toekomst Rome verder te verkennen met deze villa als uitvalsbasis.

Super séjour

Nous avons passé un super séjour d’une semaine dans cette charmante et spacieuse maison de plein-pied avec grand jardin et à proximité de toutes commodités (supermarché à 200m, gare à 300m). Nous avions le sentiment d’être en pleine campagne alors que nous étions dans Rome et à 8km de la première station de métro. Merci à Simone pour toutes les informations qu’elle nous a communiquée avant notre arrivée et un grand merci également à Renato qui est très sympathique et qui a su nous accueillir à notre arrivée. Nous reviendrons.

Der perfekte Startpunkt für den Rom-Urlaub

Wir haben unsere Zeit in der Villa Simone sehr genossen. Es ist alles da, was man für eine entspannende Zeit zwischen den Besichtigungen in der Ewigen Stadt braucht. Der Supermarkt ist in 10 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar, die Haltestelle des viertelstündig fahrenden Vorort-Zuges in 5 Minuten. Mit letzterem ist man schnell im Zentrum bzw. man hat Anschluss zur Metro. Für einen Aufenthalt von einer Woche empfiehlt sich die Wochenkarte (carte settimanale) für 24,- Sie gilt für Metro, Bus, Tram und Zug. Vielen Dank an Pasquale und Rafaele, die immer ansprechbar und hilfsbereit waren. Rundum empfehlenswert!!

Wunderbarer Aufenthalt absolut zu empfehlen *****

Das Haus entspricht in jeder Hinsicht der Präsentation. Wunderschön und idyllisch gelegen, 20 Autominuten vom Parkhaus Villa Borghese und in Gehdistanz zum ÖV. Das Taxi abends vom Stadtzentrum zurück kostet wenig mehr als 20 EUR. Die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in Gehdistanz sind bestens. Wir wurden von Pascale sehr freundlich empfangen und perfekt in das Haus eingeführt. Die Infrasturktur lässt keine Wünsche offen. Der Garten ist komplett eingezäunt, was für unseren alten Hund ganz toll war. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet, Es gibt unzählige Möglichkeiten und Plätze um die Sonne zu geniessen, vom ersten Sonnenstrahl am Morgen beim Kaffee bis zum Apéro beim Sonnenuntergang. Die grosse gedeckte Terrasse ist mit gemütlichen Loungesesseln ausgestattet. Die Zimmer/Badezimmer sind komfortabel und sehr sauber. Die Betten/Wäsche sehr sauber und die Matrazen konfortabel. Wir hätten uns keinen besseren Ort aussuchen können, um von der hektischen Stadt in diese Oase zu entfliehen und wieder Ruhe und Sonne zu tanken. Grazie mille :)

Emplacement de rêve

Un coin de verdure avec tout Rome en 20 mns... Le rêve... Toute la maison est climatisée ce qui est un vrai plus. La maison a tout le confort nécessaire pour passer un bon séjour. Amazing!

Me my partner and 2 of our friends stayed here for 10 days. It was a lovely, spacious villa. On arrival pascal met us at the train station and showed us where to go. There was goodies and a bottle of wine ready for us when we got to the villa. The train station is a 2 minute walk away and was very easy to find our way to the centre. We would highly recommend this villa.
