"Got away for a peaceful weekend trip! The bottom dock was amazing!!! We sat there most of our trip, enjoying our morning coffee, soaking up the rays, and watching the sunset. We have stayed at other places around Hohman Lake but this is our favorite! Thank you again!"

"The house was perfect, very clean and had everything we needed. The lake was so peaceful and we enjoyed hanging out on the screened in porch. The hot tub was great after long hikes at several of the nearby state parks. Highly recommend this property and I hope to be back again soon!"

"My wife and I booked Cozy Cabin almost a year ago in order to be in the path of totality for the eclipse. Cozy Cabin was a wonderful place to stay, it is absolutely a cozy cabin! Clean and well appointed with everything you could ask for. It's a perfect place for two couples, or a couple with 2 children to spend a few days. The lake is beautiful, there are enough other cabins on it you don't feel isolated but they're far enough away to give you peace and quiet. Cozy cabin itself is well-stocked with games to play, everything you need in the kitchen, excellent modern appliances, good water pressure in the shower, and a fantastic porch and yard to just sit and watch the lake. I would be aware the last mile of road to the cabin is dirt & gravel. Our little Jetta handled it without issue, but in heavy rains it could get a little sloppy. Magdalena and John were great hosts who responded quickly to any communication. I would absolutely stay at Cozy Cabin again if I was looking for a weekend of peace and quiet away from the city."

"This property is gorgeous! We absolutely loved the sun room and outdoor space looking over the Ohio River. The bedrooms were comfortable and the bathroom was renovated recently and was wonderful. We loved the charm of the cabin and the history. The kitchen is small for cooking but doable. Everything was clean and update to date and easy to use! I highly recommend!"

"Our family of 5 (2 adults, 2 kids under 12 and our dog) loved our stay at the Walnut Hill house. The house was exactly as described, clean and plenty of space. And the properttly was huge, tons of exploring for us and the kids loved the hot tub and fire pit. There were tons of hicking trails with waterfalls and rocks to climb on near by. Couldnt ask for a better trip."

"Wonderful rehabbed property in a neat, tiny town. Very clean and updated. Close to garden of the gods hiking. No restaurants or groceries very close though."

"Our stay was peaceful with our pets, however, we had an unexpected dog visitor (unleashed) who lunged and bit at my leashed pet. I am so very glad we followed the guidelines regarding pets for our stay as our dog could have been seriously injured by the unleashed dog."
