“More remote and isolated than I expected, but peaceful and beautiful. Noise from next room could've been an issue, but the white noise on my phone helped. Overall I enjoyed the stay and it was a memorable one.”

“The property is beautiful. Location perfect. When we arrived there was a gentleman at the reception desk not very nice. We left our luggage and wandered when we got back for check in there was a woman at reception who was lovely.”

“Hotel is situated on a stunning piece of property. The views from the restaurant / bar and patio area were absolutely gorgeous, with the lake and mountains in the background as well as the properties own little ruin. We spent hours enjoying the views. The location is great, being right on the edge of Killarney National Park. The hotel actually is close enough to hike directly into Killarney National Park. Can walk to Muckross Abbey in about 30 minutes. From there you can walk / hike to Muckross……

“Nice hotel, easy to access from the road. Ample parking. 20min walk to downtown. Nice restaurant (we had breakfast and dinner). Please note they don't have A/C in the rooms.”

“The grounds, the hotel rooms, everything was in excellent condition. We had a wonderful staff person Salvio who greeted us with a heartfelt smile, helped us in anyway he could. We would recommend this to anyone especially if you are traveling by train It is right next door but there’s no noise from the station. This hotel is historic and very ell built”
