A lovely hotel - above expectations and very good value for money. The rooms were clean and spacious, the breakfast was good (especially the loose tea selection). The hotel was generally of a high standard and the staff were very attentive. I would recommend and return.

Wow - what a great couple of days

The very best thing about the hotel is the location. Just inside the city gate, close to the old city and many many cafes and restaurants. Convenient to the street car lines and the train station. The hotel itself is lovely - comfortable, well appointed and quiet. We loved out time at the hotel and in the city.

One night in Rostock

Ok Hotel in central Rostock. Clean and in a good location. Interior is fairly old, ok but old. Rooms are good size. Slow elevator and very narrow garage are minor negative experiences.

10/10 stars for a Rostock Gem

The desk attendant Alexander was wonderful and helpful. The breakfast buffet was AMAZING. Our room and bathroom and the decor of the entire place were comfortable and beautiful. It is a central location with walkable restaurants and shops. Very picturesque town. We were even given a pass to use the transit. The only (very minor) issue was that we to slam our room door to make it close, and we worried it disturbed other guests.

Foot of the bed had black material along it, maybe fur? It could have easily been cleaned but the service of room is just replacing towels and removing trash it seems. Linens were dirty, had hair upon arrival, pillow cases dingy yellow. Towels were dirty as well with hair, even after service replaced. Hotel smelled of sewage throughout. Location is the only benefit of this hotel. Parking garage has tight turns. This should be rated way lower.

Would book again

Nice and clean, great location. Didn't realize I had booked a corner suite with a view over Neuer Markt, so that was a nice surprise. Only minor issues were a) I submitted a question to the hotel a week before going - did not get a reply. And b) it was not possible to book prepaid breakfast and free cancellation - for some reason I could only choose one of those options (and I needed the free cancellation due to possible covid issues). But that might have been an issue with hotels.com and not the hotel itself. All in all, really nice hotel. Will absolutely stay here again if or when we go back to Rostock.
