Amazing boutique hotel in the heart of the altstadt. Perfect 10/10. The staff was fantastic, going above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was amazing with anything and everything you could want. Will definitely return.

It’s a trick to find the parking because of pedestrian streets but it has nice covered area for your car. Staff is very nice and breakfast is great

Hotel Sonne was outstanding. In the middle of town, close to everything. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. There is no elevator, so be prepared for a few stairs. You can get a dronk from their bar and take it upstairs to a very quiet and private terrace. Highly recommended.

Very nice hotel right next to the city center. We parked outside the town and walked in about 10 minutes to the hotel. Friendly staff, clean and comfy rooms with a welcome treat and excellent breakfast.

A lovely hotel, wonderful staff

I loved my stay. The staff was so incredibly kind and so good at creating a welcoming environment: My little solo room was absolutely adorable, great space. Perfect for one person. Comfortable bed, nice bathroom and shower. The breakfast was on point, absolutely delicious. What a great place to stay. Great location in relation to all the tourist spots too.

Incredible service and such a lovely, convenient property. My family and I had a memorable experience - possibly the best of our time in Germany. Our family had a fantastic stay at Hotel Sonne! This charming, quaint hotel is in the perfect location, within easy walking distance to all the nearby historical sites. The warm and welcoming staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The hotel has a small parking lot which made it easy to offload luggages. We’d highly recommend Hotel Sonne for anyone looking to enjoy a cozy time in Rothenburg!

The staff was so helpful and kind and they spoke English which was really helpful for us. The location is excellent. There is a pedestrian only road at the front of the hotel however you can drive to the back entrance. We would stay there again.

Central location A bit tricky finding the property by car- find a lot and walk to it first ones right around the corner. At a the Italian Restaurant up the street, fantastic- a must needed change from 2 wks German food
