“A very quiet town (except for multiple trains nearby) next to the Cheat River. Clean, spacious room across the street from good full bar.”

“The room was a little dirty but still adequate. The front desk man, I believe named Andrew was fabulous though! He gave us great suggestions and was happy to be of assistance.”

“Very basic accommodations. Bathroom was small and the tile soap dish had apparently broken off in our room, so there was no place to put soap or shampoo while ahowering. Breakfast was also very basic, but to have any breakfast is a plus. Rates were higher than I would expect at this type of place. Location was fine.”

“Huge holes in the ceiling, buckets full of water sitting everywhere. No pool or hot tub as advertised. Road to the facility has huge potholes. Very outdated rooms and furniture. Only 1 elevator and 1 luggage cart. Had to carry everything up three flights of stairs or walk what seemed like a mile. At one time, it was probably a nice place, really needs upgrades. Wouldn’t recommend it in its current condition.”

“Loved my stay at this motel. The friendliest staff I have ever encountered, so helpful and friendly. Everything is so clean and well maintained. Sits up high with wonderful mountain scenery.”

“Our weekend getaway at The Lodges Sunset Village was excellent. Loved the quaint atmosphere and cozy cabin. It was a great size for 3. Close shops and eateries near by. Staff was accommodating and prompt. The only suggestion I would give is that when providing the cabin number/addresses to the lake side properties to use cabin5 address for all rooms. We were taken completely off track with the original address as typed in the gps. Also we would suggest a larger sign at the street for the……

“The interior of the small apartment was clean. The bed was uncomfortable, however; the mattress needs to be replaced. We knew it was a double bed, but rolling into each other made for a bad night's sleep which was aggravated by the amazing number of dump trucks who ground through their gears rounding the corner of Route 7. On the other hand, after I asked for a hot plate so I could boil some water for dinner, the host provided us with a pot, steamer, and wonderful hot plate that worked……

“Very clean-- nice area to really relax. I just had to get a board to fit across right when you start up the ramp.cause a big hole. I had my special needs son with me so that wasn't safe for him. But everything was excellent. Oh need a handheld shower head. My son sitting on chair and it was very hard to wash him. He is 36. But loved the setup.”

“This place was great. It exactly met our needs. There is a great gym, a really nice heated indoor pool and a cute little park. We stayed in one of the townhouses. It was clean and had everything we needed to make meals. We will definitely come back next time we visit WV”

“This was Labor Day Weekend, so the activities were all of of the property except for a Dog Day for the Humane society., with country music. Over all very quiet”
