"If you want the 1950s experience, this is for YOU! Stay where John Wayne and other western stars slept but don't expect this to be a modern facility. Could NOT get a diet drink any where but there is a gas station within walking distance. The shower dripped a constant tap dance that had a great beat. And be sure your traveling buddy is an intimate friend because the mattress will definitely roll the two of you together!"

Hotel St. Cloud

10/10 Excellent

"I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. I love older buildings, but don't want to give up modern amenities. This one delivered. The rooms were on the smaller size but we were very comfortable. The bathroom was extra spacious. Nice dark quiet rooms with an exceptionally comfortable bed. The lobby and decor was keeping in old, but modern."

"The room, bed and breakfast were good. There were two room issues that needed assistance: 1) TV had no signal, and 2) Freezer had so much ice build-up that the door would not close. Called the front desk, and Heather said she would come to our room to set the TV correctly. After nearly an hour no one showed up, so we went to the desk and asked for help again. Once Heather arrived we showed her the freezer issue, she said there were no maintenance people available to help, I also asked for a screwdriver so that I could remove the ice myself. She said there was nothing she could do and that "it was not her problem". We were both very surprised at her attitude, when my wife asked her to repeat what she had just said, she went into "fight mode" and said that she was being very nice and didn't like my wife's attitude. After some more tense discussion, we asked that her manager come and take a look. After a few more minutes, she came back with her manager (don't know his name, he was a young polite middle eastern man), and he said we could switch rooms to get a working fridge and said he would come back with a key. While he was talking with us and fixing our TV issue, Heather accused my wife of "giving her a bad look" although this was not happening - again, she was trying to pick a fight. We eventually got a different fridge which worked great. Heather's general attitude was combative and inappropriate, we hope her manager discusses this situation with her to correct things."

Fully equipped down to the last detail and extras of everything we could possibly need. There is so much love and care put into this special home. We hope to stay again some time!"
