"Very nice hotel. The hotel really made us feel like we were on vacation. It really has the feel of a Hawaiian vacation. We would probably stay there again. The only problem was loud music coming from the pool from about 7 pm until about 10 pm. The hotel doesn't take guests who want a quiet room to relax after a busy day into account."

"We were disappointed in our room - the ocean view was only if you were on the balcony, otherwise it was a city view. The room itself had seen better days. We were in the alohilani tower - tried to go to the pool on 5 but access was closed and we were directed to the swell tower for access. Too much trouble for us. There was no lobby bar - maybe because Morimoto was closed for repairs, and the Momosan restaurant was outside. The drive up appeal was lovely. The pool was busy - the music was pumping. Not our jam but seemed popular. We did enjoy the complimentary beach gear provided by Beach Candy a couple blocks away and the beach itself was good. I guess $500 a night doesn’t buy what we were expecting. Kudos to the young employee who encountered us getting off the elevator and showed us our room and explained the amenities - he was the best part of our stay!"
