“Booked last minute, location fantastic, central with parking. Room was lovely, very comfortable bed. Owner Helen took the time to tell us about the building and all the renovations that have been done and ongoing. The public areas are beautiful, mix of old and new, really suits the place itself, all the staff were very friendly and gave us tips on where to eat out. We will definitely stay here again and would highly recommend a visit. We look forward to a very warm welcome in the future. 😊”

“The cottage is situated amongst farmland environment. We received a great welcome and very helpful information for good eating and trips. Excellent views Kevin and Tracey were very welcoming and helpful without being intrusive. Overall a wonderful stay and I highly recommend them.”

“The shower did not drain, which resulted in the bathroom becoming flooded with water. The light in the seating area would not work. The pillows were very thin and so was the mattress. Overall a poor experience. ”

“Very basic room, could do with some improvements such as soap in the bathroom, a spoon to stir tea/coffee. Tea bags just loose, would be better in a sachet. Didn’t dare try any food in the bar/dining room due to the large rats seen running in the area near the kitchen and bin area. No housekeeping, nobody came into my room during my stay to make the bed, change the towels and empty the waste bin in the room, disappointing. On a positive note, the room was warm and the bed very comfortable. Lots……

“Cottage was in a beautiful setting, peaceful and rural. It was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. Hot tub was perfect. Beds were ridiculously comfy and with the peace and quiet we slept like logs! Tracey the owner was friendly and welcoming and gave us lots of helpful information about the area. And we even had a fabulous welcome from Bella the puppy! We will definitely come back and recommend it to others.”

“Food was good, I had one of my favourite meals ham, eggs and chips 😋. Cooked Breakfast, toast, orange juice and cereal available. Room was clean and tidy, the bed was very comfortable, I was overlooking the main road but it got really quiet around 11,pm and I slept like a log. Would recommend, good for the price.”
