“Fantastic as usual”

“Only stayed for one night but will certainly be back, the hotel is an old coaching inn from the 1800’s and if you are looking for a bland, anonymous place it’s not for you, quiet, friendly, warm and comfortable with character and quirks, my room had a 10” thick mattress ( i’m sad, i measured it ) with very good quality bedding that gave me a superb night’s sleep and even a settee to lounge on while i watched the good sized tv, views out of my windows were of Lickey forest. The kitchen was not……

“The flat/annexe was extremely clean and the host was very welcoming. The bed was comfortable and the shower was excellent. Extremely peaceful and relaxing, if you enjoy walking it is also the place for you. Highly recommended.”

“Hartelijke ontvangst bij de receptie, alle verplichte formaliteiten werden hoffelijk en geduldig behandeld, schone schitterende en functionele kamer, waterkoker met koffie, thee, koffiemelk en zoetstof aanwezig en de kamer was uiterst modern, functioneel en praktisch ingericht. Ik had ook nog het voordeel van alarmfunctionaliteit dat per abuis ook nog functioneel werd getest. De receptionist reageerde supersnel op het alarm en was niet boos maar juist uiterst bezorgd. Ook het overige personeel……

“這家旅館整體來說很棒，因為伯明翰市內所以免停車費(倫敦市路邊停車很貴)，房間很乾淨，價錢也很便宜，飯店服務態度佳，標準英式早餐一人才新台幣550元左右；周遭地點風景美麗，值得推薦！”

“Bad: The drawer and the kettle are not clean...should be improved more. Good: 1. Breakfast is very good and the chef is nice. 2. Bathroom is clean and tidy.”

“We stayed for 4 nights the location was perfect. Rooms are a little tired looking, carpets didn't feel clean under your feet. When we arrived I was unsure if the beds were fresh as the blankets we just pulled up over the bed and pillows not tucked in like hotels beds are. On inspection bed was clean. Maybe a little more TLC is required. Also soap in shower was that watered down it was ridiculous. But Staff were absolutely lovely nad location was great. ”

“Very dirty bathroom, beds had miss match bedding & pillow cases on. No banister on the stairs, holes in the wall, lights not working, wardrobes were broken. Used the beds to sleep and left very early on to go grab showers elsewhere before starting our day ”

“Convenient location and very clean inside (a bit shabby exterior). Strange accommodation set up and room layout let this place down - single bathroom only accessible through the tiny kitchen, no kitchen worksurfaces, no forks?! Communication / check-in very good and friendly.”

“It was dirty, cheet bed and cover duvet not change and not cleaning. No towels. I am not recognised. We left after see bed not clean. ”
