"Rooms were spacious and there is lots of room. Only one parking space on the sidewalk in front of the house in case you have two cars. The actual address is 219BIS, not 221 as listed on VRBO so that you can more easily find it. There is NO AC in case you were wondering but the house did cool down after dark. The roof windows were full of bees with one having a large hive, so keep those closed. Very clean and stocked well! Worked well for our large family of 10."

"Het appartement is ruim.Echter: - de bedden zijn slecht (oud, versleten en doorgezakt)- er hangen diverse stopcontacten uit de muur (is dus niet veilig)- de stelling in de grote slaapkamer valt bijna uit elkaar, zakt ook door als je er iets op legt- als je in het bad doucht, voel je de bodem bewegen- de parkeerplaats is veel te klein. "There was some confusion with the check in, mostly due to a lack of knowledge on my part and our language barrier, but we figured it out. The property manager was trying their best to help me and was quick to respond! More pictures of the property would be helpful in the listing, as well as an understanding of the bathroom situation (two different showers and a sink in a separate room from the toilet, just an odd layout but still worked well). "Large, new looking room and spacious bathroom. Good breakfast, helpful staff, and walking distance to all of the sites. Train station and Pompedieu Center Metz are about a 20 minute walk at a comfortable pace. Hotel is surrounded with good eating and shopping for all budgets."

"The hotel is modern and clean, but expect only the minimum basics. It was tucked away in a corner where you had to go through an alley to find, and any sort of restaurant or grocery was a bit of a walk or a drive. The hotel was advertised as "sound proof", but we heard the next room's alarm go off in the morning (for example). The room we had for three people was a tight fit. We chose this place based on rate, and you certainly get what you pay for."

"The room was a bit tight, but comfortable. The room did get a bit warm at night, so we slept with the window open to keep it comfortable. It is non-smoking but we found smoke (marijuana) in the hallways and at times strong enough to creep into the room. Not one seemed to complain, and we did not want to cause waves. Julia was very helpful and told us what to see, what to do, and where to eat. She has great customer service skills. Breakfast has an assortment of items and we loved the bread and cheeses. But there were also eggs, bacon, and cereals. The hotel is just on the edge of the old town area, so shops start about 15 meters away, and you can find cafes, restaurants, chocolate shops, and clothes stores all within walking distance. Plus the buses travel everywhere, we were able to go both north and south, east and west for several miles just exploring. Bus stop just a few meters away, and train station about 1/2 km. "
