Pre-Christmas getaway

July 4th Getaway

The house and location were perfect for what we were wanting for our weekend stay. The surroundings are very quiet and the drive into town only takes a few minutes. The set-up of the house is nice in that there is a large family and dining area and also private bedrooms and bathrooms. We would stay again on our next trip to Ruidoso.

Perfect!

The property was perfect for our family (3 couples and a single). Everyone had their own space to relax and the view from the back porch was wonderful. Added benefit was the evening visits by the deer and elk!

Girls trip

Quiet time with friends. Lovely home. Plenty of space and privacy

Quite lovely. We saw elk, turkey and deer, which was a thrilling experience. Plenty of space for comfort and privacy.

Great Floor Plan

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The 4 bedrooms with bathrooms, kitchen, living area, deck and grill was perfect for our group. We saw deer, elk, and turkeys almost every day. We will be back to stay here again. Thank you for sharing your beautiful house.

Great property and location. In town for the horse races with family and friends. Wildlife viewing was awesome. Watched the fireworks from Inn of the Mountain Gods from rear deck. Would definitely consider staying again.

Property was as advertized

The property was as pictured and advertised. I will say that the description of "true mountain experience" should be taken literally. Property is up a long winding road off one of the main roads through Ruidoso. It rises at least 800'. Also be aware that the water from the faucets is basically undrinkable. Water from filter in fridge is acceptable but you might want to stock up on bottled water. This is true of most of the public water in the area.

Heaven in the Mountains

The Texas Gambler was everything that was advertised. All the bedrooms were very spacious & bathrooms were great. The living area and kitchen had everything you need. The back patio is where we spent most of our time. It’s stunning and the wildlife was abundant! You want be disappointed by staying here.

Quilt Retreat

Fabulous! The house was perfect for us. We each had our own bedroom and bathroom-heaven!!! The kitchen was well supplied (maybe a few more plates) , 2 great tables to work at, eat and play games at. Wonderful area to walk around. Not super easy to get to town, but not far. We had food and drinks and never had to leave! Highly recommend!!

Cabin get away

Nice long weekend stay. Property is great and house was really nice. A couple of issues internet didn’t work so lucky we had our own hotspot because one of us had to work remotely so that was a bit disappointing. Kitchen was great but not many pans and cooking items so would recommend you plan ahead. Also the dishwasher left a film on the dishes that was hard to remove so wound up washing all by hand.

Beautiful open floor plan home.

We enjoyed our stay. The open floor plan was great for our son that uses a wheelchair. There was enough room for everyone to spread out and having 4 bedrooms and 4 baths was a great benefit for everyone.
