Annual trip

Its an annual tradition to spend a weekend in ruidoso and I think we have found the perfect cabin to be our new annual cabin, loved the whole stay.

Very nice area and relaxing

Our family enjoyed staying at this cabin. It is not too far from town. We enjoyed relaxing in the jacuzzi. We would stay here again.

My family enjoyed our weekend stay at Rustic Grizzly. Very peaceful. We were looking forward to using the hot tub but it would heat up our entire trip. Other than that the cabin was great.

Beautiful Cabin!

We absolutely loved our stay it was the perfect getaway. We saw a lot of wildlife around the neighborhood. Such a cozy little place. I do wish it was a little more secluded, but everyone is very respectful of your stay! Will definitely be coming back!

Coziest home away from home!

Three generations of family had an absolutely amazing time at this cozy cabin! We are all from Alaska, now living in West Texas, and we knew we were exactly where God wanted us to be when we walked into this cabin. Excellent & fast communication when we needed, clean home, and everything was more than we could’ve hoped for! Ohhhh, we WILL be back!❤️

Cabin is good, cleanliness awful !

We've found poop upstairs on the carpet, one of the bedsheets had a big yellow stain, had to go to the store to get new ones! I mean overall its a good cabin but come on!

Construction Site

Construction on a new house/building site was underway and should take months to be completed. The banging noises started around 8am and finished around 6pm. There isn’t a washer and dryer. The vrbo fee is too high.

I would recommend, we could not use thw hot tub and thwir waa no air conditioner or waahee/dryer. It was hot upstaira and dispite us opening windows and having the one ceiling fan on, it did not help cool the cabin. Overall i qould recommend

Cute rustic cabin

The cabin was clean, rustic (in a good way), cutely decorated, convenient and close to town. We frequently saw elk and deer on or near the property and we really enjoyed sitting on the large front porch. The little arcade game was a fun addition. Neat place!

Great cabin very peaceful

Excellent cabin that is very rustic but has everything you need. Hot tub and front patio are wonderful. Once the carpet is replaced it will be top notch (Owners are working on that). We will rent it again!

Had a very nice time in this lovely cabin. Close to the action but tucked away. Tv never worked properly and couldn’t raise anyone to help. Other than that very nice stay.

Looked great but not comfortable

To start the cabin is beautiful. Communication with owners was reasonably fast. The problem was two fold. For one thing and its major was that there is no AC. It was written only once that it had no AC so easy to miss that point. I saw other reviews in the warmer months and noticed nobody hadn’t said anything about not having an AC. I’m here to tell you that it gets warm and hot inside the cabin. They should at least provide some mobile fans to help. So as nice as it looked it was way too hot to really get comfortable. Second issue was that out of our 4 nights there we only had internet on our very last night stay. We had teenagers so this became an isssue. We were unable to stream anything not even Netflix. Had the cabin had AC and a reliable internet it would have been better. Oh and for one day the jacuzzi didnt work but they took care of that right away.

Great spot, clean. Wish i asked how to turn on A/C

Overall cleansness of the place was really nice.Everything was decorated really nice and felt real homey. We couldn't get the A/C to work, so it was hot at the open a windows and they're still hot outside so very hot.But i'm sure that a conversation with the owner's probably would have made that a lot easier to handle.
