Giardino dei Trulli Tenute was a perfect place for us after a long day of going around Matera, Alberobello and Bari Vecchia. "Very smooth process, from checkin to checkout. The property is excellent, very clean, had all amenities, and all the nice touches, from the little soaps to the coffee pods. It has a spacious balcony for the morning coffee. Short walks to everyone, from the train station to the city. Quiet and safe. Very accommodating hosts. "Good communication and 15 minute walk to old town. Very comfortable bed. Didn’t state there was a washing machine which I was very pleased about when I arrived! Cutlery and pans weren’t 100% clean and there is a chopping knife for food missing but apart from that, great little place. Early check out at 9:30 but the host allowed me to stay until 10:00."

"A lovely place to stay! The room is spotless, the lobby is comfortable, and the breakfast is outstanding. The only minor drawback is that you need a taxi or will have to drive to the old town; the distance is too far to be walkable. Front desk staff can readily call a taxi, however -- and to return to the hotel, you just walk to the train station to find a cab."
