Pets welcome which is a big bonus, ideally located for saffron Walden and walks.A lovely historic house albeit extremely expensive compared to other similar properties that we have stayed in.

Wonderful home, close to town and in its own wonderful world

Fabulous property, like a real-life Weasley Burrow, hundreds of years old and naturally higgledy-piggledy as a result but very well and sympathetically updated. 2 families with teens/tweens all comfortably accommodated with ample space. Very plush, warm and clean. Although close to Saffron Walden and Stansted, you wouldn't know it: it was silent at night, and you truly felt secluded and cossetted in the 1800s. Best of all were the delightful reminders of the family life that lived here 25 years ago... there were very touching family memories discreetly located throughout, a window into what looks to have been a charmed upbringing; thank you for sharing it.
