I arrived on the ferry from Helsinki and it was about a 35 minute walk from the port to the hotel. The route was lovely as I walked by several monuments, a beach and small parks. "My husband and I, along with a friend, booked two rooms at the Nunne Boutique Hotel for 3 nights in Tallinn. Both rooms were wonderful with comfy beds and an abundance of light. Our friend’s room was in the courtyard and ours overlooked a narrow cobblestone street with a lively, open view. We arrived at 11:00 and expected to wait until 3pm for our check in but when we arrived at the reception, our rooms were ready. A real bonus and great start to our stay. We cannot say enough about the staff! Every person we interacted with was friendly, helpful, and that spoke very good English. A special shoutout to the dining staff who went above and beyond to serve us outside in the courtyard while having 80+ dining guests at the same time inside. Everyday we had wine in the courtyard and the young women served us there. I believe it was the dining room manager who recommended a great white wine and the food was delicious! The reception staff were also so helpful giving us directions for tram travel. Again with big smiles and accuracy. One of the best ever staff and dining experiences we’ve had anywhere in the world and we travel a lot! Thank you, Nunne Boutique Hotel from Susan, Tim and Jane."

"Meriton Old Town is spectacularly located in Tallinn. Step out either door and you're in the action. Our room was peculiar, the twin beds were arranged "head-to-head", strange. I guess that's how they fit two twins in a room that's less than six feet wide. Breakfast was very well provisioned and fresh. We would stay at Meriton again."
