「We recently stayed at this beautiful century home conveniently located not too far from Hwy 40. The host is friendly -- they've been doing this for 16 years or so -- and the breakfast, which was included, was delicious. However, we stayed in a room that did not have an ensuite bathroom. Hence, the toilet and the shower (shared with another bedroom, but also used by other guests) were at the other end of the floor, which is not ideal. Moreover, our room door did not properly close! Very awkward...

「There was no breakfast included. Staff was not forthcoming at our arrival and when we needed extra supplies for the third person in our party, for whom we were charged as extra guest. Parking is fine. Room was clean.」

「Solo traveler experience just OK This is a self checking place with is fine, instruction to get in were clear. The room was nicely decorated. The parking is at the back and far from the front door, you might want to drop your luggage first. I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the room. First, no hand soap by the sink. The hand towels were stained, time to make rags with them. The towels felt scratchy, like the feeling of being dried in a clothes line. The worst was when I when to put...

「Bien dans l'ensemble. Cependant, chambre très mal insonorisée (on entend les gens dans le couloir, dans les autres chambres et même dans la salle à manger malgré le fait que notre chambre soit à l'autre bout complètement). Aussi, ajout de crochets près des bassins extérieurs pour accrocher serviettes et peignoirs serait apprécié. 」

「Vraiment un grand luxe d'avoir le parc de la Mauricie à 8 minutes en auto. Le petit chalet a tout le nécessaire pour être bien pour un petit séjour: la cuisine est bien équipée, et l'espace feu est vraiment un grand plus en hiver. Tout était parfaitement propre. J'aurais pris un peu plus de produits dans la salle de bain et malheureusement l'eau chaude ne fonctionnait pas bien dans la douche (mais on nous a dit que ça devait être réparé dans la semaine). Il faut savoir que les autres chalets...
