great hotel in ambialet

very welcoming staff. beautiful place to have dinner, watching the full moon rising next to the old church up on the hill. bed comfortable; room a little small. nice bathroom. we would definitely stay at this hotel again!

Un spot calme et plein de charme loin de la ville. Idéal pour se reposer. La proximité de la rivière et la piscine sont des atouts. La cuisine proposée par le restaurant de lhotel est authentique et très savoureuse.

Découverte au bord du Tarn

L'hôtel est très bien situé. Le cadre est très joli et reposant. Des équipements: piscine, parc, jeux pour les enfants, en bordure du Tarn sont un plus indéniable. L'accès à Albi est facile. Je conserve cette adresse pour un futur séjour dans le Tarn.

Charming place right on the Tarn River

The hotel staff were wonderful and very accommodating. The food in the restaurant was some of the best we had in France. The area has some spectacular scenery and great hiking. I would definitely love to return.

Hôtel bien situé.

J'ai passé un agréable séjour à Ambialet qui est un petit village magnifique. Piscine à l'hôtel, randos à proximité, artisanat dans les environs, de quoi s'occuper sans languir une seule seconde.

Une excellente surprise

Un accueil extraordinaire, une chambre magnifique avec un petit balcon, cet hôtel est à la fois proche du Paradis et du Tarn ! La vue sur le village et le château depuis la chambre est géniale. Pour le restaurant, je vous conseille de laisser carte blanche au chef qui, pour 50€ vin compris, nous a comblé, tant en quantité qu'en qualité. Le repas et les vins sont axés sur les produits régionaux, nous faisant faire de belles découvertes. Le personnel est toujours là quand il faut, d'une courtoisie exemplaire, et particulièrement investi pour assurer la meilleure qualité de prestation. Même l'attaque inattendue des nués d'éphémères a été parfaitement bien gérée ! Le petit déjeuner, même si il peut sembler cher (9€), est surtout composé de produits maison excellents, avec expresso à volonté! Heureusement, nous ne l'avons pas raté (de justesse !). Nous sommes arrivés là presque par hasard, car c'était un des rares hôtels où il restait de la place. Notre seul regret et de ne pas y être resté plus longtemps. On corrigera ça la prochaine fois !

Wonderful location, rooms and food

This is a gem of a family owned and run place perched atop a river. Lovely surroundings with great hiking and very nice rooms. A superb Chef in the restaurant, with beautifully prepared and presented food .. with some family recipes passed down for generations. We look forward to our next visit.

PROPRE MAIS HUMIDE

POUR UNE FAMILLE DE 4 PERSONNES, nous avons été hébergés dans un bungalow et non une chambre d'hôtel. Pas grave mais ce n'était pas précisé à la réservation : conséquence : chambre bien aménagée et propre, mais insuffisamment isolée de l'air ambiant donc une très forte odeur de moisi dûe à l'humidité de l'air (à proximité immédiate d'un cours d'eau). Sinon, le personnel est très gentil et serviable. Le reste de l'hotel et le restaurant sont agréables et les equipements satisfaisants pour un séjour de plusieurs jours

Un hotel très bien placé pour profiter du Tarn

Un moment très agréable dans un h^tel dont le prix est raisonnable. Le restaurant est de qualité. Surtout, la proximité du vieux site d'Ambialaet et la possibilité de se baigner dans la piscine comme dans le Tarn font de cet hôtel un lieu assez merveilleux (au moins en été)

A good stopover

Stayed just the one night. Not much going on in sleepy Ambialet, but the area's very good for walking and very peaceful. Nice hotel location overlooking the bridge, good grounds and outdoor pool. Lovely room with great outlook, but the shower/toilet room was small. Ate in the hotels nice restaurant, and well presented and good service, but maybe the Menu was a mistake for us, and we should have gone a la carte instead. Good wine list. Best of all, a splendid buffet breakfast, and good attention given to it. No regrets at having chosen this hotel.
