"The lovely and super charming Villa Lara was perfect for our stay to visit the D Day Beaches of Normandy. Not only was the hotel and our room very nice, the staff couldn't have been nicer. I inadvertently left 2 pairs of shoes behind when we left. The staff notified me and were nice enough to overnight mail them to my next stop. Our tour of the beaches left from the front lawn of Villa Lara. That couldn't have been more convenient. For the 2 evenings we spent there, the staff offered to make dinner reservations for us at restaurants that were close by. All in all, a great stay."

"Outdoor pool is heated. Property is right next to ocean and easy to walk to local restaurants. Note that you should make reservations in advance for the local restaurants as they are small and can be full."
