"No Towel Bars in Bathroom, sofa old and dirty under cushions, see through curtains In Bathroom, no face clothes, only gave us 2 hand towels and 2 bath towels for 8 nights, no shampoo or conditioner, not enough toilet paper, we brought our own rather than bothering host. cheap TV and bad program selection, no place to eat, one linen closet in bathroom but not good for hanging clothes. No control of heat in basement had to use electric heaters which took time after getting in to heat the entire...

"Liked the hotel and staff; didn't care for the remodeling of the entrance. Two king-sized beds made the room rather small. The sofa chair needed a firm seat cushion."

"The rooms look to be recently renovated. Clean. Nice flooring and wall coverings. Great t.v. Bed was very comfortable. Good air conditioner. Good breakfast was included each morning. Quiet room. Bathroom had a great tub with in tub shower. Good shower head. The bad was room was very small. The bathroom had a really small vanity. Needs some shelving or a slightly larger vanity with a bit of counter top. Some towel bars also would be good. Overall it was priced right and for a short stay it is...

"Hotel room was very clean. I found the tub to be quite slippery getting in and out of the shower…they may want to put some slip guards in. And I found the tv to be on the small side. But overall my stay was very good. "

"The Shadow Lawn Inn was exquisite! We could not have been happier with our accommodations and the restaurant was beautiful and the food just delicious. The property is a beautiful vintage Victorian Home. If you are visiting Saint John NB this is the perfect quiet place to stay and it is only a 15 minute drive to the downtown. We would most definitely recommend the Shadow Lawn Inn. Thank you for a beautiful experience!"

"I didn't stay. I got there and nobody was in the office. I had to go to a bar/tavern to get my key. When i ooened the door to my room the smell hit me. There was old dust on the tv and the fridge door was streaked with i do not know what. It was terrible. So i gave the key back but as we could not reach anybody who worked there i had to go back the next day to get a reimbursement. "

"We booked this property as a couples’ getaway weekend prior to a busy and stressful time about to begin at work. And it reset our system, 110%! We crossed paths with the hosts while checking in, and had a wonderful conversation. What lovely people! We wish them all the very best. The property itself was spotless, very well maintained, and totally unique in so many ways. The hot tub provided a perfect place to relax and enjoy a drink, and the optional (which we opted for!) bedroom setup...
