"The staff was absolutely amazing, thanks to Elston (E) for being very hospitable and reliable. The decor of the unit was beautiful and the view is top tier. I will be visiting again. My only takeaway is that the access to and from the building. The hill is very steep making hard to walk down and near to impossible to walk up. Most taxis were afraid of driving up and the free shuttle up wasn’t always available due to the staff making rounds up and down to accommodate other guests. A stairs from the top of the hill going down would’ve made the experience 10/10. Overall the stay was amazing, my experience is a 9/10. "

"My husband and I enjoyed our stay. St. Maarten overall is absolutely beautiful! It was truly a 10 out of 10 experience. We stayed at the Sonesta Ocean Point View - Adult Only, which was the best decision! It was more peaceful, the rooms were nicer & spacious, and we enjoyed the Adult Only restaurants. We loved that we had access to everything!! We definitely believe paying extra to be on the Adult-Only side is 100% worth it! The Staff members greeted us upon arrival, they gave us a welcome drink, we checked-in early for free, had no issues checking-in and checking-out, there were no additional fees besides the security deposit hold ($50 per night of stay and you get it back with no incidents / damage)! The amenities, food, drinks, and entertainment were also great! We highly recommend their Spa. The Ocean front couples massage and classic facial was a 10 out of 10 experience! The Spa Staff is amazing!!! Our only con was: Front desk staff & restaurant staff members energy level is kind of mid. They didn’t have high energy, smile, nor engage from time to time. I also highly recommend getting a private taxi driver before your trip, it made everything super smooth for us! Overall, we loved it and would go back! Thank you Expedia!"

"Absolutely loved our stay at this resort! We had a beach front room right one level 1. Easy access to the restaurant and beach! The staff were all very friendly! Devon at the pelican restaurant! He took care of us the entire stay. Great service, clean rooms, beautiful property, nice location. Felt extremely safe. "

"Room and bath were large. Views are fabulous. The hotel is U shaped so every room has a pool and ocean view. Food and drink are on the higher side. Staff was great, food is good at SALT, bar makes good drinks and the pool service is very good. The pool is awesome!"
