“We had an absoloutely wonderful two night stay with our toddler at Cave Auger. The upstairs family apartment was perfect for us , and we were particularly grateful for the excellent air con during one of the heatwaves earlier this year. The pool was great - warm and immaculately clean.
Stéphane was the most welcoming host - and we particularly enjoyed the dinner on the terrace that was all local produce, and it came with our own little barrel of delicious wine. Breakfast similarly……

“Very friendly staff and a warm welcome for us and our bikes on arrival and we appreciated the option of having dinner on site as it was pouring rain. The dinner was excellent and tasty even though not cooked on the premises.
We appreciated the use of the kettle downstairs in the lobby but would have like one in the room.
We had a problem during our stay and the staff member Tom went above and beyond to help us - he was polite, understanding and everything you could wish for.
Great shower and……

“A fabulous building and site, which will be first class once they spend a few million on it. In the meantime it has well-refurbished rooms, excellent pool area and was a pleasure to stay.
One downside - they do not have a restaurant, although they do have a range of pre-prepared meals they will heat up and serve to you.”

“Jean-Claude was wonderful from start to finish. He greeted us personally at the villa upon our arrival and graciously allowed us to check in early so our family could enjoy the pool while the property was being prepared. That small act of hospitality made us feel welcome from the very beginning.
The villa itself is beautiful. We especially loved the pool, and the magnificent stone façade gives the home so much character and charm.
Jean-Claude also went out of his way to bring us charcoal so we……
