“The quiet environment of Berkey's Jungle Paradise is outstanding. It was fantastic to relax in the hammock at the terrace. And the views from the accomodation is really stunning. If you like to walk many tourist facilities like the Trafalgar Falls and Wotten Waven are at relative short distance (30-40 minutes walk). Berkey is a very kind person willing to assist you at all times. So the place is higly recommended ”

“STUNNING. Incredible location in terms of walking access to many beaches, and other highlights like Point Baptiste Estate Chocolate factory. The staff are super friendly and helpful, and the Distillery is full of treats to enjoy and bring home for gifts. The grocery store down the street has amazing fresh juice and we enjoyed dinner at Nets of Reef multiple evenings.”

“Overall we loved it, though it would have been good to know that you can't drive to the hotel if you don't have a proper 4WD as it is located at the end of a long and steep tarished road. Luckily the hotel offers an transport service for the dirty road between 8am and 5pm. They also offer food(preorder only) and drinks at the bar. The staff was very nice and always helpful. Our favourite was the weekday driver. The cottage had a very nice kitchen unfortunately not much utensils in it... Being so……

“Resort was beautiful! Rooms were clean staff was friendly and helpful . Restaurant upstairs by the pool was delicious! The ONLY problem was the road to get up to the resort itself . A taxis worst nightmare . I got charged extra for every taxi I took JUST because of the road . They all informed me that all taxis forbid the road that’s how bad it is . Just a heads up if I would’ve known I wouldn’t have booked because it was stressful . Other than that great stay !”

“I booked a 10-day stay over Carnival (MasDomnik) at Pinnards Mountain Resort, and it was such a refreshing scenic escape. The mountain views and peaceful atmosphere truly gave that relaxing “getaway” vibe while still being close enough to enjoy the festivities. The shuttle service was a great option to take advantage of, making getting around much easier. The swimming pool was lovely and very well maintained, and the complimentary pool toys were such a thoughtful touch. The restaurant/bar is……

“Experience nature living in an open air cottage in the rainforest. We enjoyed our time here. But we knew what to expect and it may not be for everyone. The kitchen is small, but adequate and we cooked most dinners here and packed lunches for day hikes. The bed was comfortable and we are grateful for the bug net canopy over the bed. The indoor shower had warm water and water pressure was good.We enjoyed watching a variety of birds feeding on the banana plant flower at one of the openings.……

“The property is high in the mountain and remote from the town. The view is spectacular, and we enjoyed excellent privacy for a tranquil stay. Management was flexible and worked well with us.Be aware that the neither the pin nor the address provided on the website lead you to the resort. Make sure to get driving directions before you arrive in Dominica. ”
