"This is an intriguing house full of character, unexpected corners and evidence of a long past family history. There are lots of pictures, books and masses of equipment of every sort (some quite old). There is lots of space, some impressive downstairs rooms and attractive bedrooms, with comfortable beds. It is still a work in progress, (a beautiful new fridge arrived while we were there) and there are parts of the house less fully renovated than others, but this did not detract from our...

La maison a vraiment le charme d'une maison de famille, tous les équipements sont présents, ping-pong, badminton, y compris une barque pour promener les enfants sur l'étang. Les environs sont très plaisants et il y a beaucoup de choses à visiter, en particulier la fabuloserie qui vaut le voyage. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour."

"Fantastic place with large secure garden. We didn’t travel as much as expected because we had trouble dragging the kids out of the pool / away from the games barn. When we did the nearby lake with canoeing, beach and play park was great. Very eclectic location - not luxurious but really well equipped for a self catering family. "

"We have just spent six nights in this small house in Briare. The house is located within easy walking distance of Pont de Canal. Also walking distance to nearby Carrefour supermarket making it a good location without a car. We used Briare taxis from and to the station. There is a regular, reliable train service to/ from Paris each day. The house itself is in need of some modernisation but everything is as described and everything works, including WiFi, tv, dishwasher, cooker and washing machine."

"Wow!! The pictures do not do this house justice…it is a truly beautiful house.. We were a group of friends and family..6 adults and 6 children/teens.. We all fell in love with the house. The house is situated on the river, 5 mins walk to town. We were lucky to arrive during a festival and celebrated one of our groups birthday whilst we were there..the town were having a party and we danced till late..a weekend we will never forget..the only downside was we only stayed 2 nights..we all left...

Piste d’amélioration: Préciser le lieu et l’adresse exacte dès le paiement. Un petit feu dans la cheminée à l’arrivée aurait été un plus ( a priori un peu froid à l’arrivée ..) mais vite réchauffée par le feu mis en route ! prévoir du papier journal et allumé feu pour les « novices »..! Confitures maison délicieuses et petit vin de bienvenue : merci aux hôtes ! Maison...
