「The hotel was located right across the street from the station so it was very convenient as we traveled in and out of Rouen by train. The staff was very helpful and showed us how to get to the main attractions. We were upgraded to a larger room and it was great. There was a kettle and free tea bags and instant coffee were provided. 「What a delight to find this gem. It has to be the most special place to stay in Giverny. We were fortunate to arrive at lunch and the cafe was open and serving. The food was excellent for meal. Our breakfast was served at our table in the morning and surpassed anything we found in our two week travel through France. This is really the only place to consider staying at in Giverny. Stay two nights!」

La proprietaria è stata gentilissima, ci ha offerto la stanza nel cottage allo stesso prezzo perché la nostra aveva una scala ripida per accedervi e con una neonata non ce la sentivamo. Colazione fantastica, tutto local e di qualità! Anche qui massima flessibilità, nonostante siamo arrivati dopo l’orario della colazione, non hanno avuto problemi a servirci. Il posto è incantevole」

「I really enjoyed our two-night stay. The hotel was very clean, and our room was cleaned regularly. There is a large shopping mall nearby where we could purchase everything we needed. Bus stops are within walking distance, and the nearest train station is about a 40-minute walk. The hotel also has a lovely backyard, which we used to relax in the morning and evening. 」

Man kann hier einen schönen mehrtägigen Aufenthalt planen und sich die Umgebung ansehen.
Ein sehr gutes Frühstück und auch das Abendessen ist hier hervorragend. Einzig an Wochenenden kann das Restaurant sehr voll werden. Abends sind die meisten weg und dann ist es dort herrlich ruhig. Allein die Anfahrt über die Bahnstrecke ist schon ein Erlebnis. Klare Empfhehlung. 」
