“I found it annoying that my internet connection was so complicated to set up. Other hotels just have a password code. Easy. I also could not watch any TV without having to join a streaming service. Other hotels offer this for free to watch cable. A manual or directive instructing clientele on paper/ laminated would be helpful as the older generation do not all have smart phones and are lost as we can’t view hotel instructions via phone. The elevator was very loud from my room also. I……

“The price is right. The property is not maintained well. It wouldn’t take much effort to improve it - tidy up and mow/weed wack. The staff was very nice and explained things well. The room was clean and the bathroom was remodeled. The air conditioner worked well. The town is a great place to find food, shops, and history - very quaint.”

“My family all stayed at The Hampton Inn of Manchester for my husband’s nephew’s wedding. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff was very accommodating to what our needs were for the weekend. The breakfast station was fantastic as we could all enjoy breakfast with each other without going anywhere else and making reservations for a big group breakfast. I would recommend anyone visiting Manchester, Vermont to checkout the Hampton Inn for their stay. They won’t be disappointed. Remember……

“Room was clean, king bed was comfortable. Had what I needed for a one night stay.”

“It was good for me and my little dog. We took a single. But it was down stairs and hard to negotiate for a somewhat disabled 78 year old. A screen on only one window. So, for one who likes to sleep with windows open… not great. Also, there was access to a lower lawn, j no it at dark no outer light to turn on for walking doggy. All in all it was ok. Bed was hard but I’m tough and finally slept well.”

“Clean room, great shower pressure, updated bathroom and nice breakfast. There’s a bar open till 9 in the main house which is nice. It’s conveniently located to main attractions. We stayed in Remember Baker’s room which had a porch and that was really nice. The property is adorable but needs TLC. The Parsonage house where our room was located had a strong smell of mold/mildew which was tough to ignore. If we didn’t have that issue I would rate it higher but that is hard to get past. “Lovely charming motel with a view to die for and a sweet and filling breakfast !”

“Gentleman that checked us in was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was typical continental breakfast and was good. Had two rooms, first room was fine. Clean but air conditioning did not work. Second room, heat did not work and our first night was cool out. They did move the second room. Heat worked well in the new room, however had dead flies throughout. Pool and hot tub in need of a cleaning. Forget the gym equipment. It’s all rusted and in disrepair. Would I stay here again, no. But it is……

“Rooms were clean and staff was helpful, however, atmosphere felt like Section 8 housing. Smoking was done right outside my room and I was watched constantly by people from their rooms. There were no cars in the parking lot, but many arguments there during daylight hours. Not a comfortable place overall.”
