"Our family has stayed here every year for the past 7 years for the coco cola 600. This is our first back since the renovation and I’m blown away with the upgrades. The lobby/dining area is so beautiful the rooms looks amazing. Over the years the pool was WAY TOO COLD I was never able to get in. This year the pool is warm. I was able to get fully in but it still could be warmer. Check in was easy. Our room had a lock that didn’t work and the staff wasted no time getting maintenance to help us fix it. It still didn’t work so without hesitation we were moved and upgraded with a balcony. The had house keeping around the clock taking out the trash keeping the hotel very clean and put together. The only thing I’ll complain about is having 2 out of 3 elevators working during a weekend as busy at the cocoa cola 600 and the happy hour bar no longer has more wine options. Breakfast was delicious it’s the one thing that keeps us coming back every year. The chef making the omelettes is killing it."

"It didn't seem like anyone had swept the room because of hair and dirt on the floor, couldn't use the kitchen because there was no pots or pans and I was not buying any. There was less outlets in the room I had compared to other rooms.There was 3 of us in our room and I had to beg for enough towels for the 3 of us. We were there Memorial Day weekend and the pool wasn't open and the front desk lady seemed very mean about it.......she said it opens Memorial weekend, so I asked to verify also clarifying that the weekend was Memorial day weekend and she snapped back saying no next weekend end of the month. I have stayed there a couple times because it has been convenient but with some of the troubles I may try and find elsewhere to stay."
