Another great stay at the New Forest Lodge - super convenient for a pre-cruise stay. Rooms are well appointed and great value, the Indian restaurant next door and a pub up the road is a bonus.

Large clean room, in very handy location. If booking ask for a room away from the road, as quite a busy road, and can be a little noisy. Also, walls may not be that thick as could hear snoring from an adjoining room. Handy area with various items you may need such as tea pots, milk, tea bags and dishes for breakfast cereals, plus cutlery.

It is a nice hotel for 2 nights. In the room was a selection of tea & coffee. It has the bonus to be next to a very good Indian Restaurant which it would recommend. From the hotel it was an easy reach to Salisbury and Stonehenge.

So much traffic noise and needed windows open as no AC. A plug in AC unit was provided but was very noisy. The shower was not hot enough and not powerful at all. Also heard the people above walking around. Despite reasonable sized room and good size bathroom (although too dark) it was not for me. I would not return. I also asked for a quiet room and was probably give me one of the noisiest. Room 1.

Room was spacious and clean. Due to my poor phone signal the email with details of entry to the hotel hadn't downloaded but we were welcomed and the key situation and door code were explained to us. Really handy location but main road was a bit noisy although an air conditioner unit meant we didn't need the windows open. We could also hear the people above talking and walking about on creaking floorboards but it was very competitively priced for a hotel on the edge of the New Forest National Park.

The lady on reception was very friendly and helpful and always happy to have a chat when we were coming and going. Plenty of parking, room is a bit outdated if I was being ultra-critical but for the value of our stay it was a great value for money. The room was clean and had everything you needed. I would definitely stay here again
